Also, some guy in a black truck, sped down our street, and ended up hitting a couple of our neighbor's garbage cans over. The guy stopped down the street and was confronted and he came back to help clean a little but then sped off like his butt was on fire. Luckily some other neighbors from across the street came over and helped clean up the stuff that was scattered all over.

The sound sounded like an accident, and when me and my grandmother came out, the greenery can that belonged to the neighbors had skidded all the way across against our drive way to the fence on the other side and there was trash all out on the street and gutter. It's all cleaned up now, but the guy got some damage to his truck and one of the cans got dented and lost a wheel. Some people....seriously. They said he wasn't drunk or anything but said something about him being high. We don't really know.

@Micki Chiba: I think it was like 102 today. But it's usually hotter on our patio by like ten degrees. So whatever our thermometer says it's usually actually ten degrees cooler than that.

I live in CA too, but I'm near Sacramento. It's usually a super dry heat during the summer and we have pretty mild winters. I usually stay in doors when it's super hot.

I gave up on the 1000 puzzle. I was nowhere near finishing it and I have to turn off my laptop before bed so it wouldn't of been saved. I went for 100 instead and got 30 badges. Better than wanting to punch someone because of so many small pieces.

I've got a few more hours. I'm determined to finish it.

*wants to punch her screen with how frustrating this stupid puzzle is*
