"No it wont." Kagome murmured quietly,"It will never be okay. I'll never understand why I have to do this...there's other girls here in the village. Some of them would rather go. I just wish it didn't have to be me." She hated sounding so selfish but she just couldn't help it.

Just then, Sirene saw her,"Natalie!" She called, hurrying to catch up to her. She hoped the girl wouldn't speed off. She also hoped she wasn't too upset with her. When she reached her friend, she noticed there was a storm brewing.

Kagome grabbed her things and wrapped an arm around him gently, leaving with him to head to the nurse,"If your fever is too high I'm taking you back to your dorm to rest." Kagome said, gently but firmly. She could catch up on her work later . His wellness was more important.

Sango hugged Miroku after leaving the classroom,"Ready for our next class?"

Sayuri smiled and nodded, "Yeah it did. Thanks for this. I'm sorry you kissed your class too."

Aria nodded,"Things are still a little rocky." She admitted,"But we both plan to work harder at this and yo make sure we can make this work." She smiled,:On the way here we actually sat together and I read out loud for a little but. We hadn't been able to do that in a long time since Lyle had been helping his father with things and I had been finishing my classes." She was really happy to have that time with Lyle, and it showed. And all they did was read together.

Kagome got up early as well, helping Kaeade with what she could. When they had stopped for a few moments, Kagome hugged her gently, unable to hold back her tears any longer. Why her? Why did it have to be her? There were other village girls who would have loved to live with a prince in a fancy castle. So why couldn't it have been one of them?

Sirene frowned,"You don't want her to know....?" She said softly, wondering why he didn't. She nodded and swam inside, leaving the door open for him to come in too. She cleaned up her face and brushed out her long hair and pulled it up into a ponytail. She turned to look at him,"I'll be back as soon as I can. Feel free to relax." She said, kissing his cheek gently before swimming away to look for her friend.

Kagome gently rubbed his back as he slept, using the other hand to write down stuff she was finding for their project. She glanced up and noticed the bell would be ringing soon. She decided that she did enough for the project for that class and put her things away. When the bell rang, she gently nudged Inuyasha,"Inuyasha..." She said softly,"I'm going to take you to the nurse."

Sango saw him writing notes and threw a small paper ball at him playfully, giggling before kissing his cheek and continuing with taking notes. She was thankful their teacher never noticed them. There were worst kids in that class then they were.

Sayuri nodded as they walked, making note of everything he was showing her,"That's what a lot of people were saying. But she kept trying to shut them up or claim they were lying." She shook her head,"Either way, I'm just gonna try to stay away from her."

Kagome nodded, doing her best not to cry, although a few tears fell. She went up to her little room, not in the mood for anything to eat. She wished she could get out of it somehow. She didn't want to leave Kaedae alone like this, but it seemed she had no choice in the matter. She packed her few belongings and curled up onto her sleeping mat, wanting to try to rest a little before having to leave in the morning.

Sirene smiled and nodded. She leaned forward and kissed him gently, using that kiss to show she really did have feelings for him,"I think I will." She said, after the kiss broke,"Would you be alright waiting here while I do that? I gotta get cleaned up first though.."

Sirene leaned against him gently,"I don't mean to shut anyone out." She murmured,"I kept chasing stupid mermen because I never thought you would see me as something other than your kid sister's best friend..." She sighed,"I really am an idiot." She wished she knew what to do to make it up to Natalie and hopefully keep her best friend. She looked up at Nate,"Any ideas on how I could make it up to her?"

Kagome looked at Kaedae sadly,"I wish I didn't have to do this." She said softly"This village... you and these people are all I've ever known.... I don't know if I can do this without tears." Kagome didn't know what else to say or do as she did what she could to prepare.

Kagome let him sleep, working on what she could get done with their project. She kept an eye on him, really worried about him. She decided that after class she was going to convince him to go to the nurse... somehow. She knew he couldn't continue like this. And it made her feel even worse than she had before.

Sango nodded,"Yeah.... he really should...and soon..." She kissed his cheek before they entered their classroom and went to their seats.
