Aria giggled softly, watching the snowball fight and seeing the snow man. She looked over at Lyle,"I know playing in the snow is both something you would like to do,"She started,"But I hope you'll at least consider building a snow man with me while we are there." She leaned over and kissed his cheek, a swift one since he had set his book down for a moment,"I haven't said this in a while...since I know things have been busy...but I love you." she said softly.

Aria took out a book too. She didn't mind talking to Lyle, but she doubted he would have wanted to talk much. She thought the books were a safer way to go. It was true things were good with them and she didn't want to cause a fight and make things stressful again. She started to read herself, even though she wished she could snuggle next to Lyle and listen to him read out loud. But she had a feeling they wouldn't be doing that much anymore...

Aria looked over at Lyle,"I know it might be a long trip...would you like a book to read?" she offered him a bag she brought with her. It had four or five different books to choose from and a couple were ones Aria remembered he wanted to read. She would read one too after he chose one.

Aria nodded quietly, following them quietly, slipping on her gloves and hat. When they got to the carriages she was careful as she climbed in, wondering how long the ride would be. She looked out the window as the snow started falling lightly. It was perfect Christmas weather. She couldn't help a small smile.

Aria blinked, having not noticed just yet,"Oh! I guess we are..." She blushed a little bit,"I can just go upstairs and change if needed." she said. She was surprised they chose the same colors by coincidence.

Aria was very excited for the trip. She was getting ready to go herself. She had just taken a bath and dried her hair. She chose one of her new warm dresses and changed into it. It was dark blue, long sleeved with white faux fur around the neck, ends of her sleeves, and bottom of her dress. She pulled on her new boots and grabbed her gloves and a hat, just in case before hurrying downstairs to meet the rest of the family.

Julia frowned, listening to him as he explained his frustrstions,"All I can say to that is as long as your passing, they should be happy. I know they want the Malfoy name to be as perfect as they think it is, but your happiness and mental well being are much more important than that, even if they don't see it." When he mentioned the essay she smiled,"I already finished mine." she said,"I'm just the to rewrite it neater and to add a few things. That's why I asked if you would like a bit of help."

Aria nodded, speaking gently and politely,"Lyle and Troy already know that I love Lyle with all my heart. Being friends with Troy has helped us greatly..." She told the Queen how Troy had advised them a bit in some of their bad arguments (only three times) and how he had been helping them learn to understand each other on a different level,"Troy has grown into that friend you can call your brother. I doubt he would ever want to change that." she nodded,"Don't worry, Your Highness. I'm still as careful as I can be. I will promise that."

Aria smiled and went with her,"I'm really excited for this trip." She said,"It's been such a while since we've seen Troy. I can't wait to try ice skating. I'll have to make sure I'm really careful when I do." She went with the Queen into the shoe store and started to look around at the warm boots there. She wasn't sure what kind of boots she would go for. She just knew they had to be warm and waterproof. After trying on a few and having a pair or two chosen, she went about looking at other shoes while the Queen was still choosing her boots. While there, she saw a beautiful pair of shoes that would match her favorite gown.

Aria requested a few custom made items herself and the rest were things already made. She looked over at the Queen and smiled,"I am...it's almost like shopping with my mother..." Her mother had been a maid to the Queen and had passed away when she was 18.
