Cordelia smiled and nodded,"I'm looking forward to it." She said,"I already have most of my things packed. And you know I didn't have a whole lot in the first place." She looked up at the ship,"Finally we can get out of this small town and try to make something of our lives."

Sirene smiled and nodded,"Ready to go?" She asked, gently taking Nathan's book as she was planning to buy it for him. She swam over to the check out counter and got ready to pay for the books.

Cordelia sat up and looked at him, listening to him speak. She was shocked he would think she would want to leave. There was only one thing she could think of doing to show him she wouldn't be leaving. She leaned forward and kissed him gently.

Cordelia smiled and hugged him back tightly,"It's already stocked up with everything and anything we would need." She said, looking at him,"Food, plenty of drinking water, literally anything we would need is already stocked up to the nines. We can leave any time your ready~"

"I never said I wanted to!" Cordelia groaned in frustration, covering her face. She closed her eyes, wishing she could just ignore this like she had been for the last few years,"Nothing is wrong. I had no intention to leave. If I really did, I would have stayed behind instead of getting on the ship to leave." She looked up at him,"Why do you feel like I would just up and leave anyway?"

Sirene smiled and nodded, kissing his cheek,"Come on~" She smiled, swimming off to find Natalie. She couldn't wait for them to get their big new house and have them move in with her.

"I never thought of leaving." Cordelia replied,"I just meant I wouldn't up and leave now. Even if I really wanted to... We worked too hard to get this far and I wouldn't just throw it away now." She let out a sigh. She was frustrated with herself for feeling like this. She was such an emotional mess she didn't understand why they would even want her around anyways.

She smiled and gently grabbed his arm,"Come with me~" She said, gently leading him out and away from the bookstore. The next thing he would know, they were at the harbor and she had stopped in front of a grand ship,"Remember how I had been talking about saving up the last ten years I've worked at the bookstore?" She asked him with a smile,"Well... this is why. I just managed to save up enough to buy this ship. It's for us. To get out there and live how we always wanted to live!"

Sirene smiled at the other mermaid and nodded,"Thank you so much~" She said to her before swimming off to check out the shelf. Within a few minutes, she smiled,"Found it~" She said, pulling it out carefully and bringing it over to Nathan,"It looks like it would be a good book to read. You'll have to let me borrow it when you finish~"

Cordelia shook her head,"No I wasn't going to leave." She said, sounding shocked he would think such a thing,"Besides even if I wanted to leave where would I even go? I can't just walk off a pirate ship unless I want to drown or something."
