We went to a kids' event on Halloween that explained dia de los muertos to little kids. My son was scared of the face paint. lol. XD
There was a few trunk or treat events in town and one of the areas was so clogged with people, that once we got candy, we were ready to head home. We were peopled out.

I feel like 24 hour shops are as rare as 24 hour vets.

I hope your kitty has an easy vet trip and it won't be atrocious. I understand the money issue. :c My roommates haven't paid us yet for rent and we really need it now. >;<

@0v7: Oh cool. Sounds like a good get-together. I was asked to go out to a bar with a friend on Halloween night, but, just like you my bed time is about 9. lol
I did a full day of different things with the kids. I think we did a decent job of social distancing.
The truck broke down just as the shops were closing up for the night. So we won't know much until later today. :c The theory from the oil place was that the fuel pump went out and they also think a lifter isn't working right. So... we're taking a financial hit.

Halloween was good, day after was nice. Yesterday was like all the bad juju built up and exploded. XD So today is a recovery day. Our truck broke down during a regular oil change yesterday. So it got towed to a shop.

HOw was Halloween weekend?!

Hello! Good Morning.

My dogs don't bark, they usually talk or whine. so hearing them Bark is strange.
I got some Halloween prepping to do for tomorrow for my littles. I bought my son a costume he's going to REALLY like, but the only size available was twice his size. I need to try and make it fit him. XD

Sorry for not being too chatty today. I got a lot on my mind today.
Then randomly, my dogs just barked like someone was at the door. There was no one. It was weird. My house is sort-of in the country/edge of town. I got a big driveway. My tree outside is shedding like crazy. Leaves EVERYWHERE. and twigs. it's annoying. I have a feeling a branch or twig hit the door from the wind.
3 huskies doing the 'intruder' bark is ... terrifying. XD

I relate. Lately, I've been going to bed early. It's harder for me to sleep in now that my kids are adjusted to their school schedule. They're so loud in the morning. e.e
When they get loud, my huskies wake up and start going nuts.

I'm eating a bagel and cream cheese and drinking coffee.

I'm an early riser compared to you guys. lol. I am usually up by 7am. o3o"

@0v7: I just like doing the DV dailies that involve playing games. lol.
I did a full streak of completing almost All of them, but my ambition on that site dropped. I should post more in their forums or something. But now I see there are the guilds.

Tea sounds good too. You reminded me I have a jar of homemade honey from my friend's property. I wish I could share it, it's quite a bit.

@icedchai: HAHAHA I relate completely. I've spent the last 2 years going "I need to get my hair back to my favorite look" but I haven't. I bought the dye to do it. But I think, now that i'm so close, that I want to hire a professional. lol. My hair is a lot longer than it was 2 years ago.

@Shadami: Your memory is pretty good. I'm glad the 4 & 4 hours method works for you. It works well with my husband too. He sleeps 3-4 hours after work sometimes. You sound so DIY crafty! I'm not that ambitious, although I occasionally do projects. I think I'm going to do a sewing project today. After I clean the kitchen.
