AAAH YESSSS My childhood bestie just texted me back and said she's driving over this weekend! <3333 I'M SO EXCITED. It's a 7 hour drive. :}
@Wildfire: I'm on my first cup of jo, and well, anxiety is a little high today. But I'm super tired. So I guess anxiety and I will have to get along today while I drink my energy-giving dirt water.
My sister is reaching out and getting celebrities to promote my niece's [14] career path. It's making me anxious, and I can't quite pinpoint why.
I'm not jealous- although she has successfully got a couple of my favorites on board. I think it's probably because my niece is 14 and has teen troubles, hasn't found herself mentally, and she's being forced into a career path. :o //end Rant.
@Another Movie Addict: Omg I love your halloween avi! <3
How's your morning going?
omg. We're on the same page. I was thinking blue too. But, I want to do a bold, bright blue since the room has a game theme going on. I have a pool table and soda machine in there.
I hope your son does well in Spanish! <3 How exciting! :DD
May is going to creep up fast. D:

I think I'll probably end up painting the main/game room a form of white. Just to make it feel more spacious. There's one wall that leads to a bathroom and a bedroom and I was wanting to make that the accent wall. Just haven't quite decided on a color.

Oh jeez, it is past noon here.
I'm being productive, I bought some painting stuff off of Amazon. Our main room/game room- is olive green. I want to give that a new color. I'm not diggin' the olive green.
and then I filled our soda machine back up. c: It was running low. Our house came with a soda machine and my kids are taking full advantage. They earn coins, they spend the coins, I get my money back from buying the soda. lol
@Wildfire: no, haven't figured out what put the towers out of service. The internet company said a fire. I want to assume our phone tower had the same problem. -shrugs- All seems well now though.
Today is good. Had a rough start. but I'm turning that around.
Having been cut off from the internet and data/phone. It put a lot in perspective. How much my household relies on it. It's nuts. I mean, I have a lot of boardgames, crafts, etc. so we didn't get bored. :d
I think my next beverage will be tea. <3
We had some towers go down for some reason. So Sunday and Monday, I had no internet and phone data- no bars. So, totally offline. It was a weird feeling, being cut off suddenly. Not a big deal since we don't work from home or anything. I just had to improvise on homeschooling yesterday.
I'm sorry Wildfire! That's so frustrating! I would be frazzled in your shoes too.
@Wildfire: My husband finally quit getting home from work and stripping at the door. There used to ALWAYS be a pile of clothes [that stank] next to the front door. He's basically a nudist at home. XD
I taught my kids to do their own laundry. The last year, I've been trying my best for them to be observant and know when they have a load of laundry in their baskets. hit and miss each week. By the time my kids are 9 and 10, I'd like them to be responsible for their own clothes.
My mom babied me. She would come home from work and find inner-peace by doing housework. Like laundry and dishes. I really didn't know what I was doing when I hit adulthood. lol
