@Shadami: Right when I woke up, my daughter said "mommy- look at this ...." like 30 times before I even had my first cup of coffee. My patience was running out. My son needed attention too because he wanted to do harder chores to earn some coins. :O Bleh, anyway.

@0v7: The state I just moved away from got a few inches of snow last week. And my home-state got like a foot of snow the other day. And I'm over here laughing at them. Problem is, my new house-... I don't know how to winterize it for whatever is coming. Kind of hard to talk to locals and get to know people in the area with the pandemic. XD

Winter is creeping in around here. Last week was snow-cold, but with no snow. This week it's climbing back into the 70s. I'm trying to get outside some before it drops back down into chilly weather. I get seasonal depression really bad. :T

@0v7: Did you get your haircut yesterday? Are you still waiting?
Sorry I disappeared yesterday. I'm getting better at doing that. lol XD I ended up driving out of town yesterday to get out of my house for a bit.

Oh gosh, It's like my kids are deliberately annoying me today. o_e


@Shadami: I relate to you on the exhausting couple of years.

@0v7: He came back to the kitchen from putting his work clothes away and he watched me while I was nervously laughing and trying to spoon all the flakes out of his bowl.
He ended up dumping his bowl back into the crockpot, mixing all the spicey up, and getting a new bowl. Less hot.. but hot. lol I didn't go back for seconds. Reaper flakes are not my favorite. hahaha

omg, I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that it's Halloween week. D: It's just so BLAH this week. And I can't hype my kids for Halloween too much because there isn't going to be trick or treating in this area.

@0v7: I made soup last night too. lol. Then I thought I'd be nice to my husband and I put a 'dash' of spicy in his bowl. ... but.. like, I grabbed the reaper flakes on accident. The dash didn't turn into a dash, the lid basically fell off.. omg.

@Wildfire: Gettin' out of the house and enjoying a meal is something. Sounds relaxing. A blah weekend is better than a stressful one. lol <3

I had a good weekend, I just feel a bit drained.


@0v7: Sorry for poofing earlier, I'm homeschooling my littles and they suddenly needed quite a bit of help. :o I think I need to set goals for myself. Do an art-thing once a day or more realistically, every other day or something. :d
I haven't tried making face masks. I've got most of my sewing stuff unpacked and set up. Hmmm

I've also been thinking of doing a bit of a hiatus. I feel like I'm not focusing enough on projects that make me feel better, more productive.
I did a couple sewing projects over the weekend and spent time with an old friend. I feel good today. But it is Monday. The on-coming week feels overwhelming already.
If there was an award for chill avi, you'd win it. lol
omg. I can't believe halloween is almost here. :O

How was your weekend?
I had an old friend over. She drove 7+ hours to get here with her son. She drove home after 2 nights at my place. <3 It was nice, but I'm exhausted.
