@Wildfire: I grew up using online school systems during the time they were getting developed. The system that teachers are using for this public school transition is very all-over-the-place. I'm getting frustrated this week with their teachers. My daughter has been told to use several different websites for education.
and my son has 2-3 websites and there are no milestones or learning tracking that I can navigate.
@Wildfire: Well I didn't do a whole lot with my kid-free time. My son got nervous and came home early.
I was a real home-schooled kid, so you'd think I'd remember you aren't in the same shoes as I am. XD
I'm thinkin' I need to switch the kids to the real-deal online schooling. Not the public school's version.
Oh this day off for public schools is a teacher-work day, essentially. So they can re-group, see where they can improve, etc. It's countrywide from what I can tell. -shrugs-

New art. :d
Now I can change my avi. XD
@Wildfire: Omgosh. I didn't forget your kids were homeschooled. lol, I guess I came from the angle that they were doing the online public stuff. Silly me.
With school being out, my neighbor with kids just came by to pick up my kids for a playdate. I'm kid-free for a couple of hours.

Good Morning! <3

@Wildfire: Do your boys have no school today?

My kids don't have school today for a "Teacher in-school" day. The same goes for my niece in Wyo. I'm curious if it's U.S. wide thing.

Edit: I did some internet research. It's the Teacher In-Service day. Makes sense now.

I'm actually looking into switching my kids from the public school online system to a more organized online school system.
@Another Movie Addict: My mom came to visit and I made her cookie recipe before she arrived. She looked at them and went "You might've used my recipe, but it doesn't look the same" I laughed so hard.
@Another Movie Addict: AH COOKIES! Sounds so gooood! Chocolate chip?

@Wildfire: We have a fickle hot water heater that needs replacing. We have to reset the hot water heater anytime we want to use it.
The Garden tub sounds relaxing.
@Another Movie Addict: I hope you got good rest. :)
@0v7: HAHAHA! Same!
I hooked up my PS2 and played my nostalgia games. I am no longer good at SSX Tricky and Samurai Warriors. hahaha.
And a few other games.
I'm confused by your math post. o;o' I stink at math. I can do basic retail math, anything more complicated scratches my brain.
@0v7: omg, My brother's son, who was 9 or 10 at the time, played better than my brother. It was fun to watch. It looks a little more difficult than I have the patience for.
I stick to Minecraft and rpg.
@0v7: Terraria was my older brother's favorite game for a while. I didn't get into it. But I watched him play often enough. :p

@Wildfire: We're in the same boat. There's always someone home now with pandemic living. My dogs are rarely kenneled now- unless we head to the grocery store as a family.
I think I can buy In-Stitches from you now. c: I just rounded up a little over 5K volts.

I actually didn't play video games last night. I put the tv on for my kids, and I took a nap until my husband got home from work. He fell asleep, I got up, put the kids to bed after some dinner.
I had a beverage, read my book in the hot tub, and then went to bed. I'm very well rested today.
@0v7: Oh sweet! Minecraft sounds fun.
I might just finish my book and jump into video games tonight. I'm in the middle of a couple of quests on Witcher 3 that I've been avoiding finishing. lol. I need to finish the quests.. I accepted them and found myself in spots where I should have really gotten more supplies before jumping into killing bad guys.
