@Wildfire: oh poop. My drive that would be 6 hours is now 8 because of detours around fires. :|

@Wildfire: financially it would take a toll. I'd take my car, but due to covid and air quality, the dmv is closed. I bought my car and haven't gotten it properly registered yet.
The truck we have is a gas hog. :o Looking at the smoke map, the whole U.S. is affected by our fires. I could either drive 6 hours to a town with bad air quality but better than here. Or drive 12 hours to a state with family drama. XD

I'm thinking I might need to leave state and stay with family elsewhere. This smoke is making me feel asthmatic when I'm not. //sighs//

@Totalanimefan: oh yes. on top of that homeschooling because of pandemic.
"I woked up at three thirty o clock later than my sister." - My son just said.

@Totalanimefan: 2020 is so weird as a parent. My kids are at an age where they absorb Everything. and they repeat, so we have to be cautious about topics within ear shot.

@Wildfire: That's a good point. I have a feel for it already, but, my own experiences weren't the best. I'm trying to give my kids a better understanding that I did.

@Wildfire: Glad you got your vehicle back! :D I bet it feels smooth again.
I have a lot of respect for you for having homeschooled your kids.
I was homeschooled from 6th grade and up. I have a feel for this online stuff. I never had the desire to homeschool my own kids though. :0

@Totalanimefan: This grey-blue / Sky blue is my favorite color. c: I'm okay today, decent. It's Smoky and I'm cranky. My kids are peppy. So i'm glad they're energetic enough to get on top of their schoolwork.

Sorry for the late response. A lot of school struggles this AM.

@Wildfire: I'm one of those parents that don't really let my kids on technology, I encourage them to play outside and make up games.
Now I feel terrible because my second grader is like "whats google?" and asking questions that I had plenty of time to teach her. Like minimizing, tabs, closing out, etc.
Oh gosh, it's been a while since I've had to deal with auto shops. I hate that wait to find out damage and costs.

@Wildfire: It's about 10am here. My household was frustrating this morning. Kids fighting, dogs chasing deer, a kid stuck on online homework.
oTL I need a lot of coffee and brain food to get me through today.
