Happy Anniversary to Voltra!
It's sometimes hard to believe how long I have been around this place and to see how much Voltra has grown in those years.

Post along with me. I am unsure if I'll do anything special.
Normally I do freebies but I've been struggling very hard with just the basics in life as of late.
So i can't promise to give out things.

But if i work up the energy I might.
But they will have to just be sketches.
My sketches usually look like [This]

@Wildfire: technically i have...but i didnt get into fundamentals until quite late.
and since my fam was broke i didn't ask about books.

i used to go to the library checking out drawing books but we stopped going years ago.

I've been drawing since i was 5 and got a few books roughly when i was 19 or 20.
but when we stopped celebrating birthdays i didnt ask for any more art books as that was the only time i asked for things.

so now im somewhat working i try to buy them myself.

@Wildfire: i barely have any art books so I'm slowly building up my collection.
i have more detailed ones i want to buy, but they're more expensive

i honestly don't do much here but chat sometimes in hangouts

Welcome back tho!
Hope you have a wonderful time back from your hiatus!

@Wildfire: they don't really show you the contents inside.
but on twitter they are always listed on people's threads of books that are really useful for art/drawing.

@Wildfire: I think it's called the Morpho series.
You can find it on Amazon.

They have quite a few books that are very useful with art and drawing in general.

@Wildfire: Yeah. tho i heard this book series is really good.
So im looking forward to it!
They have other books like clothing folds, and muscles too.
So i want to eventually get the whole collection.

They aren't expensive either. roughly $12-13 per book so it's not a bad price.

@Wildfire: i've just done so much research
and have not found a way that actually helps me understand.

@Wildfire: it's nothing anyone can really assist/help with.
just because my brain works in a very complicated manner.

Been in art for over 3 years and any tutorial or helpful thing i find just...does not help.
feels like it often skips steps, and so on.

So books are my only choice.
and that way i can read them and understand them whenever.

my ADHD does not really make things easy for me to learn.

but i'll eventually afford them.
was planning to eventually get two since they are affordable.
and one is simple forms and the other is hands and feet. so that'll help when i can get them.

@Wildfire: everything with hands on the internet just isn't helping me.
so that's why i am planning to buy books.
nothing is helping at all with my progress.
