Aimee just laughed lightly.

"him... And Gregory. Apparently he was the one who told Gregory I was in dire straits.' She commented, turning bsck ti what she had been cooking.

" Also, Madison will likely be out for another eight or so hours, from what I've been able to gather.

Aimee just chuckled lightly.

"Oh! Right, I'm not sure if it's still there, or if it is going to stay, but if the new pitcher is still in the fridge, don't drink the water from it." She warned.

"It's an artefact taht literally blesses the water within." She told him. "Meaning it really wouldn't play nicely with your tainted aligned mana."

Aimee nodded.

"Precisely." She answered.

"How else?" She asked with a light laugh.

"But yeah.you twinted people can't have any of it. I'm not sure if it's even in there anymore, since Yuri may have taken it back. He brought it here as it would help and and the whole near death then."

"Don't worry, I'll be fine." Aimee assured her brother.

"Anyway, hungry?" She asked with a light chuckle.

"I figured you'd be up for food." She added.

"Also, from what Yuri was saying, Madison is likely to wake with the mother of all appetites, so one of us going to need to head down to grab some extra food to make sure we can feed her well enough."

Aimee just laughed lightly./

"there's no need to thank me." She added.

"Regardless, go have a seat, I'll bring the food out in a minute or two. It's just about done."

"Hey, if you go, you go. If you don't and I do, it's all right." Aimee assured him honestly. As she dished out thr food.

"It's really not something that is that crucial right now. Although shops will likely be closing shortly..." She then admitted as she brought the food over and sat down across from her brother, making sure to hand him his dish first.

"You definitely have time to eat first though."

Aimee just laughed.

"Take a couple hundred with you, stock up, and stock up well" She told him.

"From what Yuri was saying, chances are she won't stop eating for a couple of days."

Aimee nodded.

"Of course." She said with a soft smile before pausing a moment.

"Regardless, I am sorry I worried you like that." She said. "I never expected Maddy's mana to be quite that strong."

"Thanks for hanging around wiht me." Madison said, gratitude in her voice.

"I'll see you later." With that, she gave him a quick hug - making sure she was staying away from his scythe, of course - before making her way through the slit that he'd created.

She woke with a bit of a start, before carefully sitting up and looking around. She was still in her room, and while she wasn't entirely sure what to make of that for the moment, she knew that she was at least somewhere safe. She also know that the chances were that she should make her presence known to.

"Well, since I'm up... I should go grab some food before the hunger really sets in." She muttered before crawling out of her bed.

About ten minutes later, she reached the ground floor and made her way to the ktichen, checking to see if anyone was around. She didn't see anyone, but considering the time it was easy to believe that Aimee was at work, and Lex was probably dead in bed, so to speak.

Madison just laughed lightly as she finished the note before looking at the pizzas.

"Ohhh.... You know me too well, apparently." She muttered before starting to look around and see what was where. One thing she knew, was that there was going to be plenty that she needed to eat. I fshe'd been told right, after all.

She grabbed one of the boxes and made her way to the den where she sat down and got comfy on the couch. She turned on the TV and flipped through the channels to find something to watch.
