Vincent just shook his head.

"That plan is extremely risky." he told her.

"So much can go wrong with it." he continued, having calmed down a smidgen, and it was replaced with concern for her safety and wellbeing.

"....surely there's a better way." he said further.

"What would this plan be, anyway?" he then asked.

"Have you thought that far into it?"

"......." Vincent was silent as he heard that.

"Excuse me?" he asked.

"...Kalin is missing?" he asked her.

"And you suspect it's because of the close friendship you two have?" he asked further.

"......I see." he then said, Desiree being able to tell he was boiling inside with rage.

"Then we'll have to DO something about that, won't we?" he suggested.

"Such as finding Kalin and making those that took her regret ever making that decision."

Jaden was silent as well, shook his head when she left.

"....good luck." he mumbled to the air.

"That will NOT go well." he said further.

Meanwhile, Desiree was not waiting long... about 20 seconds... before the door was opened, revealing the mage that she had been looking for.

"Desiree?" he addressed her, surprise in his tone.

"Come in, quick." he said, stepping out of the way.

"From what I've heard, it's not safe to be out and about right now."

Jaden's eyes widened when she said that.

".....ohhhhh boy." he said.

"No. No, he will not." he told her.

"And it'll only be a matter of time before he DOES find out..." he commented further, thinking about it.

"Ah... hm." he then muttered, shaking his head.

"Shit." was all he could say further.

"Hmmmm." Jaden mumbled.

"Maybe we can ask for general and generic information." he suggested.

"Try and get something that might help us locate them?" he asked.

"Ie: what the group's made up of, their patterns, that sorta thing." he went on.

"Maybe then we can guess as to where they might hide?"

Aly raised her hands up to her mouth, cupping them over it.

"Oh, goodness...!" she exclaimed quietly.

"Well.... crap." Ryker said.

"That explains a lot." he growled.

"And it's also unforgivable." he went on, cracking his knuckles.

"Tell me, if we destroy the necromancer that did this, will your Dad be allowed to rest in peace again?" he asked Eke.

"...there's too many unknowns here." Jaden said in response.

"We don't know how they'll act towards you, in regards to Kalin, or... anything." he went on, before pausing.

"The only one that would know anything about them is... my Dad." he realised.

"But I don't know if you'd want to talk to him about this." he went on. "He seems like the sort that would be staunchly against this kind of plan, to the point where he'd stop us from carrying it out, himself." he muttered.

"Hm." he then mumbled, thinking hard about the situation.

"We need to find a way to locate Kalin." he said.

"If we can find her, we can save her."

Jaden broke the hug when Desiree mentioned her plan, and was silent for a moment.

".........ah... I..." he stammered.

"Words cannot describe just how loud my silent gut reaction of 'NO' is right now." he told her.

"...but... but I cannot fault the logic of that plan." he then admitted. "I mean, it DOES make sense..." he went on, before thinking a little.

"Assuming they want to catch you." he said further.

"From what you said before, they attacked, and seemed intent on killing you right there." he went on.

"What if they just try and assassinate you?" he asked.

"......" Jaden was silent for a moment, before reaching close to her and giving her a hug.

"Desiree..." he said quietly.

"We'll find Kalin, and save her." he told her.

"If you shove everyone away, it'll just make things harder on you." he said.

"At least... that's what I think, anyway." he continued.

"...but we need to find Kalin." he then said further.

"Which... will be easier said than done, methinks...."

Jaden froze when he heard that.

"...." he was silent for a moment, before looking at her.

"...what." he said.

"She's... she's missing." he repeated. "I heard that right?" he asked.

Desiree just slowly nodded in response.

"Damn it all." Jaden growled, before pausing.

"....you think it's because they're after you?" he then asked. "What, just because you perform at her club?" he asked further, thinking about it.

"...well... it's not unknown that you two are good friends..." he then admitted quietly and uneasily.

"....Kay!" she heard Jaden respond.

"I'm almost done, anyway!" he added.

Sure enough, he was done in a matter of a few minutes, but it took a bit longer for him to get his hair dried and tamed. However, he was shortly out of the bathroom, and looked around.

"Desiree!?" he called out.

"Yo! Where y'at!?" he asked, making his way to the kitchen for a drink.

Aly just nodded.

"Okay." she replied.

She then grabbed her phone and sent a text. About 2 minutes later, Ryker stepped into the room, stretching his arms above his head slightly.

"Ahhh." he exhaled.

"Right then." he said.

"I hear you have news." he said to Eke, looking at him intently.

"I do, too." Gregory replied.

"But my demons like me too much to go." he shrugged, slamming down another shot of the stuff.

"As for what's in this..." he went on, before listing off what was in it. And it sounded damn tasty... but the alcohol in it was horrid to hear about, and he even listed a few things that were actually considered to be extinct in the world.

"It's a drink only available to spirits and the like." he told her.

"You're free to try it. Won't hurt you any."

"Admittedly, it's interesting to ponder, in terms of Fyranes drinking this." Gregory said.

"...." he was then silent, and sighed.

"I'd say 'no comment', but I know that you wouldn't accept that." he then muttered.

"Would I be one? Probably." he told her.

"I mean, it does wonders for soul pain." he added with a smirk... though there was a hint of sadness under it.
