"I wouldn't trust the elevators, to be honest." Tyson responded.

With that, they made their way up to the second floor... and found nothing. Nada. Zip. Their search ended up the same as the one on the first floor.

"Nothing here." Tyson said when they met up again.

"I honestly-" he started to say, before they heard a blood-curdling scream coming from above them.

"Third floor!" he shouted.

"Come on!" he exclaimed, as he ran towards the stairs.

"Which also means whatever's doing this is quick." Tyson said.

"Come on, we need to hurry, then." he went on.

"We need to find ANYONE that can give us info, or even possibly save." he told her.

"Let's head to the second floor." he suggested.

"And we'll narrow our search to survivors, assuming there ARE any." he went on.

"If you find one, tell me, and I'll tell you as well."

The two of them searched the entire floor, before meeting where they had originally split from.

"Nothing." Tyson said.

"I found absolutely nothing." he lamented.

"We need to find someone that's still here." he continued. "Someone that can actually respond to us, so we can get a better idea as to what's happened." he muttered.

"And yes, the bones are completely clean." he sighed.

"Whatever's doing this is certainly thorough."

Tyson just sighed at the response, and kept walking.

"I just need to find someone." he said.

"Find someone still alive. Maybe they know something." he muttered.

However, as much as he looked, all he found were skeletons. He then paused, and thought for a moment, something coming to the front of his mind.

"Is whatever's doing this spread by contact with the bodies?" he wondered.

"But that doesn't make sense... surely something would be seen... or there'd be stray... whatever they are... wandering about." he muttered, shaking his head.

I'm going to examine some of the skeletons, see if I can't find anything that might give us a lead on what's doing this. he then sent to Aedan.

As Tyson walked, he noticed things were just as empty as what Aedan was finding.

"...the hell is going on, here?" he wondered.

He then paused for a moment, and looked through the window of a nearby closed door.

"...a few skeletons in here." he muttered.

"Still fully clothed, too." he went on.

"Whatever's doing this is doing it extremely quickly, and doesn't seem to affect clothing or synthetic materials." he said further, before sending Aedan a text.

Seems whatever is responsible for this doesn't affect clothing, at the very least.

"It is." Tyson responded.

"You head left, I'll head right." he told her.

"We'll investigate until we meet up with each other, or find something." he said.

"Check in every... 20 minutes or so, even if it's a text saying nothing's been found." he went on.

"All right, let's break."

"So do I." Tyson responded.

"Well, all we can do is move forward now." he said.

"So let's go." he told her.

"Do you want to move together, or separate?" he asked.

"Which do you think is best?"

"Neither would I." Tyson admitted with a small sigh.

"Anyway, let's see what's happening." he told her.

With that, the two of them entered the building... and were met with absolute silence.

Silence, and stillness.

"...well." Tyson muttered.

"This is eerie." he commented.

"Unnatural, even."

"................." Ryker was silent as he looked into Eke's eyes, and then sighed.

"....yeah." he said.

"We definitely have the money." he told him.

"Come on." he then said, shaking his head lightly.

"I saw a steakhouse earlier. Looked like they had a special going on, too."

Ryker smiled softly.

"Ah, yeah, sure thing." he said.

"What?" he asked.

"Whatcha feel like having?" he asked him.

"There's still the stuff in the room, or there's plenty of places still open for a bit that we can find some chow."

"Done deal." Tyson responded, before quickly turning onto a side road.

After a little 'creative' driving, they arrived at the school in 50 minutes.

"Not bad timing." Tyson said as he swerved into a parking spot and turned off the vehicle.

"All right, let's get inside." he told her.

"From what I understand, the building's under quarantine, so nobody's been in or out since the first discovery." he said further.

"Granted, the fact that they found 4 more soon after probably helped in that." he then muttered.

Ryker just chuckled, and looked at the man.

"Also, I'll take the assorted fudge tray." he said.

He then paid for everything as it was given to him, and looked at Eke.

"Yo." he said.

"You ready to go?" he asked.

"Because shops gotta close at some point, meaning you can't stay here forever." he said with another smirk.

"...again, fair point." Tyson sighed.

"And we'll get there in about an hour or so." he told her.

"...closer to 2 hours if I actually obeyed the speed limit." he then muttered.

"But hey, time is precious." he then quickly reasoned.

"Regardless, yeah, about an hour. I think I can cut the time a little further with some creative usage of back roads and such." he then added.

"Think we should?" he asked her.

Ryker just smirked a little.

"One of each colour of the macarons." he told he shopkeeper.

"Of course." the man responded.

With that, he grabbed one of each, which totaled 10 of them.

"Here you go." he said to Eke, handing them to him.
