"Understandable." Addison replied.

"They were terrifying." he said.

"...." he was then silent again, before looking off to the side.

"Hey, Lily?" he said.

"I..." he stammered, before biting his bottom lip slightly.

"Just... I mean..." he stuttered further, his face turning a bit red.

"Remember when you and your brother said that only a fool would fall in love with you?" he asked.

Addison just sighed in response.

"Well... hm." he muttered.

"I suppose." he said.

"Still... they were really hellbent on killing me." he continued.

"I think you literally saved my life, like stopped the female just before she went in for the kill."

"....I have no idea." Addison admitted.

He was then silent, and seemed to be a little flustered, before coughing slightly.

"Heh." he chuckled.

"From what I saw, you were awesome in dealing with those felines." he complimented her.

@lydiachan22: Lydia, your work is super cute, and it's great you're updating it with new pics in every post you make here, but just a friendly reminder that we DO have a rule here about posting 3 or more times in a row in your own thread. It's all right if you want to move your thread back to the front page if it's fallen behind, but that clearly hasn't been an issue here. Just saying, try not to post 3 or more times in a row, please.

"Yeah..." Addison replied.

"So... hm." he muttered.

"Not sure what'll be left of him." he admitted.

"But I shouldn't bother him with this until later." he said further.

"I've heard scary things about your Mother." he then told her.

Addison thought for a moment, and nodded.

"All right." he said.

"I'll get us that reservation." he told her.

"I promise ya that." he said further.

He then paused for a moment, and thought about it.

"Um... hm." he mumbled.

"I... think I might have to speak with Ash about that." he told her.

"Which means... I'm definitely waiting for a bit..." he added ominously.

"That's good." Addison replied.

"Um... hey..." he then muttered.

"There anything I can do to... y'know... repay you?" he asked.

"Like... I dunno... maybe... go out for dinner or something?" he offered.

"Go someplace you like, but can't really get into for whatever reason?" he continued.

"I can try and use what connections I have."

Addison was silent, and sighed.

"Mmm." he mumbled.

"Yeah..." he said.

"That was... a harrowing experience." he commented.

"....thank you, by the way." he then said further.

"For saving me, that is." he clarified.

'....eh?' Addison thought.

'Wonder what's up with that...?' he wondered internally.

'Eh, question for later.' he then reasoned.

He then sat up a little, propping himself against the head of the bed.

"Hey." he said.

"Lily." he addressed her.

"Good to see you're awake."

Addison watched her go, and then sighed.

"Mph." he grunted, before closing his eyes and falling asleep.

After some time, he woke up again, and didn't know for how long he was asleep.

"Hm." he muttered.

'Lily!' he thought.

He then quickly looked in the direction of her bed, to see if she was still there or not.

"....hmph!" Addison grunted.

"Like I said." he said.

"I WILL find out, on my own." he told her.

"....not right now, though." he then mumbled.

"Feeling weak and tired..."

".....uh-huh." Addison mumbled.

"I WILL find out why you can do what you do." he told her.

"And I KNOW that others know." he said.

"Mother is of NO help, as she always dodges the question, and you do as well." he went on.

"Ash won't say anything, and neither will Sydney." he continued.

"But I WILL find out one day." he vowed to her.

"I swear to God, I will."

"Well, THAT'S a reli-" Addison started to say, before pausing mid-sentence.

"Wait..." he muttered.

"Anna... knows... and..." he mumbled further, before shaking his head heavily.

"Right." he said further.

"So when is his funeral?" he asked her.
