Ciroc paused for a moment, and smiled.

"Agent Sharp seems to be the sort to welcome such people with open arms." he said.

"He readily helped me." he went on. "And knew next to nothing about me. All he had was the word of that woman, Hollie Remmington, to go on." he continued, thinking back on it.

"He seems like a really nice person." he continued.

"I assume he's well-liked here as well." he then added.

"...I see." Ciroc responded.

"That is unfortunate." he said.

He then paused again, thinking about something... or, rather, thinking about the Unit, overall.

"Hmmm." he mumbled.

"This place... this building... seems to have a rather... diverse and eclectic cast of people in it." he commented.

"Is that coincidence, or something else?" he asked her.

"Huh. I see." Ciroc responded.

"Well, fair enough then." he said.

"Understandable, I suppose." he went on.

"Regardless, thank you for indulging me and my curiosity." he told her.

"And thank you for being so open about it." he went on, before realsing something.

"Wait, so the young lady that escorted me to the medical wing here..." he said further. "The one with the cracks on her skin... Robyn, I believe?" he went on.

"She's not an Evolis either, is she?" he asked.

Ciroc thought for a moment.

"Oh, yes, I have." he said.

"He's the one that wears a ring, and without it has black skin that looks like it's cracking and threatening to leak out molten magma, yes?" he asked her.

"...that's the one, yeah." Aedan responded.

"Yes, I've met him." Ciroc confirmed.

"I have yet to meet your son, though." he then told her.

"Also... unwanted help...?" he asked confusedly.

Ciroc seemed even more confused now.

"...demon...?" he asked.

"Uhhh..." Aedan mumbled. "Infernal? Does that help?" he asked. "From the realm of darkness and evil? I guess?" she went on.

"Oh! I understand!" Ciroc responded.

"...so you managed to conceive a child with such a person?" he asked her.

"That sounds... extremely convoluted and against all odds."

"...eh?" Ciroc muttered.

"One other, and he doesn't count?" he asked her.

"Why?" he asked.

"Well... okay, you said he barely counts, but still." he then said further, making sure she knew he was paying attention.

"Why is this person so... different, as to not possibly count?"

Ciroc raised an eyebrow.

"...oh!" he exclaimed.

"I see." he said further.

"Hmmm." he then mumbled, looking her over.

"You say that creating those like you is against the law." he then said. "Do you know of any others like yourself?" he asked.

"...and do you sometimes feel lonely if that answer is 'no'?" he asked further.

"....George Romero...?" Ciroc asked quizzically.

"Never mind. It's a stereotype and a trope that Zombie's are mindless and do nothing but shamble around and attack people because they forever hunger for human flesh. Or brains." Aedan explained.

"Oh... oh, I see." Ciroc then said.

"So... so how does it work?" he asked.

"Is it a case of... your soul being forcibly tethered to that body?" he asked her.

"And do you feel any sort of pain at all?"

Circo absorbed everything she had said with sheer fascination.

"Oh, my..." he said in a hushed tone.

"So your father defied the law of this world, as well as the laws of life and death itself, in an attempt to bring you back from the dead." he truncated.

"But... it didn't really work..." he went on, looking at her detached hand.

"Living dead..." he then mumbled. "A paradox of an oxymoron..." he said further, before pausing.

"So... does your kind have a name?" he asked her.

"And do you regret what your father did to you?" he asked further.

Ciroc nodded his head in response.

"I'm sure you already know, but I am Ciroc Icesska." he introduced herself.

"And thank you for indulging me, Miss Reveka... or Aedan, I suppose." he then said further, before pausing.

"Regardless, you say you died." he told her.

"Yet here you are. Talking to me. You carried the food in here, so you are not just a spirit." he went on.

"How is this possible?"

"...died?" Ciroc asked.

He then shook his head lightly, and sighed.

"Right now, I have... SO many questions." he told her.

"However, it would probably take a bit to get through them." he went on. "And I don't know how busy you are." he continued.

"But I would love to ask about you, who you are and what you are." he then admitted.

"You seem very similar to a race back at my home." he told her further. "If you have time, can you spare me some answers?" he asked. "Whenever that time may be?"

Ciroc looked to still be puzzling over something, as he looked her up and down.

"I..." he stammered. "I apologise if this is too forward, but I must ask a question of you." he told her.

"...okay? Go for it?" the woman responded, clearly a little confused.

"How did you manage to find your way to this world?" Ciroc asked.

"....what?" she asked him in response, even MORE confused now.

"I've already run into a Sektris here, which is already against great odds." Ciroc stated. "But I never thought I would be running into an Evolis here as well." he said further.

"So how did you manage to come here from Adaminia? Same way as I did?" he asked her. "Or the same was as the Sektris?" he asked further.

There was silence for a moment, before the door was opened, revealing Ciroc.

And he seemed stunned to see the one that was there.

"I... ah..." he stammered.

"Right." he said, opening the door a little more, and stepping out of the way.

"Come in." he told her.

"And thank you for this." he said.

Hal nodded in response.

"All right." he said. "You do that." he told her.

"Hopefully he has something." he finished.

With that, they said their goodbyes, and Hollie left the office, making sure to shut the door behind her.

Hal then sighed, and looked at Violet, before pressing the button for the comm that connected to his receptionist.

"I am currently in a very important meeting with Miss Violet." he told her. "I do not wish to be disturbed. At all." he said further. "Only when Miss Violet leaves, will I open myself to appointments and meetings." he finished.

Again, this showed Violet that she could trust HIM, at the very least. He'd just assured her privacy until her pendant was repaired and returned to her.
