They only fall... a-part.
Can it be.. undone?

"...." Ciroc was silent for a moment.

"...mm." he mumbled, looking away slightly.

"Oh... did I hit a nerve with that?" Lunet asked, sounding apologetic.

"Oh, no, no." Ciroc responded. "I mean... you're not wrong. I DO have a family." he told her.

"It's just that... my wife is dead, killed by the man that tried to kill me. And my daughter believes me to be dead... my own doing, to prevent her from seeking me out, and leading that man straight to me." he informed her further.

"...seemed that didn't exactly work out." he lamented.

"So... if my daughter knew I was alive, then yes, she would be missing me. She probably does, but thinks me dead, as opposed to merely missing or displaced in the planes." he clarified.

Ciroc was silent for a moment, before sighing heavily.

"Well, I don't want anyone to put themselves needlessly at risk to try and send me home." he told her.

"So yes, hopefully you can find a safer way." he said.

"...and... thank you." he then told her.

"You don't have to do this for me. There's no real need for you to be going out of your way to help me as you are, but here you are, doing it. Of your own volition." he commented.

"You have my deepest gratitude."

"Indeed." Ciroc responded, in relation to her comment about it sounding like Emerald and Violet's home world. He didn't want to reveal anything that either of them might not want to know, so he figured he would end that particular aspect of the conversation right there.

Which was why he was thankful she had changed it like she had.

"Less a headache, and more overwhelming, really." he told her.

"Thankfully I have some ways to handle it, and Kiah and her friends here have been wonderful in helping." he went on.

"And you are?" he asked, referencing her saying that they may be onto something. "Extremely risky, you say?" he asked further.

"How so? What is this plan?"

"...fascinating." Ciroc replied in a sincere tone.

"To think I would end up in a world where such things are possible, without sacrificing mana." he went on.

"Oh, excuse the confusion." he then said when he noticed she seemed a little on the confused side.

"My home world is Adaminia, and it overflows with magic... or mana, as it's called here." he told her. "However, the technology is... well, the richest and most decadent have plumbing that works, let's say that." he then mumbled.

"The sister world to it is a world that is extremely technologically advanced, with things that can put this realm to shame, but their magic, or mana, has been all but obliterated. There's barely enough to sustain the world as is. It's stable, yes, but almost uninhabitable for those that need mana/magic to survive.

Ciroc blinked a couple of times when she said that.

"An... an android?" he asked.

"Excuse me?" he asked further.

"I... the only concept I have for that term is... well... an artificial life or person, that's considered beyond a robot." he told her. "And even then, that term is only used in science fiction movies, as they're not real." he continued.

He then paused for a moment, and his eyes widened a little.

"Are... you saying they're a reality here?" he asked.

Ciroc was silent as he heard all that, but again, thanks to the candy, he was able to process it a little better than he could have before.

"I see." he said.

"I... hm." he mumbled.

"So you're quite important here." he then said further with a light chuckle.

"I remember visiting a world that had technology in it, but it was nowhere near as advanced as here." he continued.

"In THAT world, cellular phones were just starting to become popular and commonplace." he laughed.

If it hadn't been for that candy earlier, Ciroc would have been minorly freaking out about the information that he had just received. However, because it was still fresh, his brain was able to process it nicely, and calmly.

"Oh, I see." he said.

"That really is truly amazing." he told her.

"The technology of this world truly works miracles, it seems." he then said quietly, getting lost in thought for a moment, and then shaking his head.

"So, what do you do here?" he asked.

"I was told you work here, for your father."

Ciroc accepted the visor, and immediately noticed it felt far stronger than any glass he'd ever felt before.

He hen looked at her, seeing her pure white eyes, and suppressed a bit of a gasp. Her didn't mean to be rude, after all.

"Really?" he asked.

"This can grant you sight?" he asked further, looking it over, and then handing it back to her, making sure she felt it with one of her hands before letting go, himself.

"That is incredible." he went on.

"How did you come to lose your sight, if you don't mind my asking?" he then asked her.

"...eh?" Ciroc mumbled.

"Well, firstly, it really speaks to his character that he adopted you, and that he's why you have the life you do right now." he told her. "Seems a lot of people owe their livelihood and their very lives to him." he commented further.

"Secondly... what do you mean by that 'debuff' comment...?" he asked her.

"And what IS that you're wearing?" he asked further.

"It... doesn't look like any pair of glasses I've ever seen, and it surely cannot be an actual blindfold. One made of glass would be highly ineffectual, I would think." he then said with a small laugh.

"So... what IS it, exactly? What does it do for you?"

"Ah, I should eat, yes." Ciroc responded.

"I have not eaten in a bit." he admitted, looking back on it.

"I shall be right back." he told her.

He then made his way to the counter, and after a minute or two, returned with a burger, some fries, a bottle of water, and a bowl of fruit.

"Anyway." he said, sitting down across from her.

"You said your last name is Sharp." he commented. "Any relation to agent Sharp?" he asked her.

"We have not." Ciroc responded.

"I'm not sure if you've heard my name before, but I am Ciroc Icesska." he introduced himself.

"Miss Kiah and Mister Ilias told me that you were someone that would be worth talking to." he told her. "I'm new to this world, and there's so much to see and experience." he continued.

"I was told to find the one wearing a.... glass blindfold." he commented further.

"Am I disturbing you?" he then asked.

"Interesting." Ciroc responded.

"Regardless, I am off to find this Lunet." he told them.

"Have fun talking to her." Ilias said, as they said their goodbyes and he left.

After he did, Ilias looked at Kiah.

"...seems like a nice guy." he told her. "I really hope we can help him return home." he lamented.

Ciroc figured he would check the tech department first, and when he got there, he was told that Lunet had decided to get something to eat. So he found his way to the cafeteria, and looked around... before he noticed someone that looked like she was wearing a... well, a glass blindfold, as Ilias had said.

He looked around again, before making his way towards her, and clearing his throat slightly.

"Uh... hello there." he greeted her.

Ciroc opened the bottle and dumped one of the candies out. He popped it in his mouth, and they immediately saw his quick response. Kiah wasn't lying... they were sour. Very much so.

"Woah!" he exclaimed.

"That packs a whollop!" he declared.

"...but already, I can feel my mind processing this info." he then realised.

"Yeah, they're pretty fast-acting." Ilias told him, as the man put the lid back on the bottle and handed it back to Kiah.

"Sour?" Ciroc asked.

"I rather like sour things, actually." he told her.

"Heh, that helps." Ilias chuckled.

"But if it will help, I will absolutely try it." Ciroc said to Kiah.

"The fact that a candy can help is fascinating, though." he added.

"I assume it's an alchemical result?"
