"...right." Bast said.

"I'll... I'll remember that." he told her.

He was then silent again for another moment, before sighing.

"At least she'll be okay." he mumbled.

"I need to thank Kiah."

Bast was stunned.

"I..." he stammered.

"That..." he stuttered further.

"Wow." he mumbled, staring into space.

"I don't want to imagine my existence without Jordan." he admitted.

"....what?" Bast muttered.

"Nexus?" he asked.

"WHAT nexus?" he asked her.

"And what did Kiah DO?" he asked further, before pausing.

"Wait, you implied you don't know." he muttered.

"But WHAT nexus?"

"...I see." Bast responded.

"I'm not even sure what happened." he said.

"So... Hazel and Zeke are okay. That's good." he said further.

"...will Jordan be okay?" he then asked her.

Bast was silent for a moment.

"Bad." he said.

"I hurt." he told her.

"And what happened to Jordan? And Hazel? And Zeke?" he asked further.

Lucius looked at her, and resisted the urge to growl at being called 'Luci' again. However, it was a LOT easier to quell that, as he could see this was due to her losing energy very quickly, and she needed to get words out quickly. Plus, odds are her mind was quite fuzzy at the moment.

"I got it." he said.

He then stepped closer towards her, and helped her keep her balance.

"Just pass out if you need to." he told her.

"I'll bring you to the medical wing."

Bast finally stirred in his bed, opening his eyes slowly.

"Huh?" he mumbled.

"Jordan!" he exclaimed, rising to a sitting position, and then regretting it immediately, as it caused pain to shoot through his body.

Lucius just sighed.

"If my calculations are correct, then she's just under a month." he told her.

"And... well... yes. She... I mean... yes, and in theory it should be impossible, anyway..." he went on.

"However... well..." he then started to say further, but then paused.

"...you live in a world where you know a demonic nephilim, an archangel nephilim, a ZOMBIE demonic nephilim..." he listed off, raising an eyebrow. "My existence, while technically shouldn't be a thing, really shouldn't be THAT surprising." he commented.

"Though from what I understand, djinn mana plus some other-realm intervention can literally work a miracle."

"All right." Lucius responded, as they started to head off.

"If you crash on the way, I'll make sure you get there safe." he continued.

He then paused for a moment, and sighed quietly.

"It's... going to be weird." he said further.

"Both Dad and Mom are going to need to hear what happened." he continued.

"And... it'll be weird for me to be... uh... well... technically in two places at once, if you know what I mean."

"...if you go now, and book it, you might get there in time." Lucius muttered.

"That being said, I know my way around this building." he told her.

"I can make sure you get there safely." he offered.

"Tell them not to be too concerned with your mana being locked away, and about the strange compound in Jordan." he reasoned.

"Then I need to tell Agent Sh-... Dad... about this."

Lucius just shook his head a little.

"Indeed." he said.

"Regardless, you're probably going to crash. VERY soon." he told her.

"You've been through a lot in a short amount of time." he reasoned.

"So you'll need to recover over the next few days."

"...." Lucius was silent, before sighing heavily.

"I guess I owe you that much." he said.

"...allow me to formally introduce myself." he told her.

"Lucius Sharp." he continued, after a pause.

"...and it's not too hard to extrapolate from there who my family is."

"Well... I won't lie." Lucius muttered, sighing heavily.

"It's a lot from column A, but some from column B as well." he told her.

"I mean, a nexus being formed from a person is sadly... something that just happens." he continued. "It's... to a degree, necessary, but nothing bad will happen from the halted formation of THIS one." he assured her. "Yes, tests were run, simulations were run, and we're 99% sure that the halting of this nexus will have no ill effects going forward." he said.

"...at the very least, should be better than the alternative." he then muttered.

"But, I came back to save the world. The fact that by doing so, I help a dear friend, is why it's ME doing it, and not anyone else, really." he added.

"Maybe it's selfish, but I wanted to be the one to make sure Darryl doesn't lose his best friend to the throes of despair and insanity." he went on.

"I care about Jordan in the sense that I value her life and her existence, but I don't think I can say I knew her well enough to genuinely care on a deep level for her." he admitted to Kiah.

Ryker and Savra followed, with Savra grabbing a burger and fries, and Ryker getting some Chinese food. Once they did, they went to the table Eke was at, and Ryker smirked.

"Heh." he chuckled.

"It's good to see that appetite of yours in full swing." he commented.

Savra looked at him confusedly.

"Oh, because it means that he's doing well?" he realised.

"Usually, yes." Ryker confirmed.

Lucius flinched a bit when Kiah referred to him as 'Luci', but shrugged it off with a slight growl.

"I don't know how much I can say without jeopardizing my own existence." he told her.

"..." he was then silent, before looking at a calendar and doing some quick math in his head.

"I guess it might be fine..." he mumbled.

"But to answer your question about what would have happened... uh... well... to make a VERY long and sordid story short... Jordan dies, the nexus is formed, Sebastien doesn't take it well, at all, and he ends up bringing about Ragnarok, essentially."
