He paused when she told him that, and looked at her questioningly.

"Eh?" he mumbled.

"Something much more? What are you talking about?" he asked her.

"It's Jordan." he said. "That's all." he told her.

Now, he was still very new to the Unit. If it had've been anyone else, her warning would have been taken extremely seriously, and caution would have been exercised. But he had yet to realise just how serious and severe Hazel's warnings were, especially those like this. It wasn't that he thought she was nuts or anything, but he just couldn't see the danger that opening the door to let Jordan in would cause.

"What do you mean 'something more'?" he then asked further... as he opened the door.

The other one, the one that the redhead had been talking to, looked a bit confused.

"What?" he asked.

"I mean, it's true that things ran a bit long, but that's not an issue." he told her.

"If you feel you need to go, I'm not holding you back, but if there's a problem, that's what I'm here for." he added with a light chuckle.

He then looked at the door.

"Who is it?" he called out.

Jake accepted the recipe and looked at it.

"Huh." he muttered.

"Yeah, this seems like something she'd enjoy." he agreed.

"Thanks." he told her with a smile.

"I'll let you know what she thinks of it."

Jake just nodded and confirmed her identity, before buzzing her in.

"In ya go." he told her.

"Is he expecting you?" he asked.

"Or should I page him to meet you somewhere?" he asked further.

"Because I know you've surprised him with a lunch date on occasion."

"No need for apologies." Sharp assured her.

"These were extenuating circumstances, and your wellbeing was in jeopardy." he said.

"I'm just glad it all worked out in the end." he finished.

-Several months later-

Sebastien had established himself as a practicing therapist in the Unit, and as such, both he and Jordan became well-known by many in the building... including the security guard.

Which is why Jake wasn't surprised to see Jordan step into the security checkpoint around noonish.

"Hey Jordan." he greeted her.

"Here for lunch with Sebastien?" he asked.

Sharp nodded in response.

"All right." he said.

He then called for someone to come up to his office.

"You'll be home safely soon enough." he told her.

"How long should she rest for?" he asked Sebastien.

"2-3 days." Bast responded.

"Let me know how you're feeling in 3 days." Sharp then told Erica.

Sharp was silent for a moment, hearing that.

"Right..." he said.

"Do you require any assistance?" he asked.

"Getting home, that is." he clarified.

"Whether it be teleporting you home if your car isn't here, or driving you home if it is?"

"Not at all." Sharp responded.

"As a matter of fact, we were just finishing up here." he told her.

"Erica, meet Dr. Sebastien LeBlanc." he then said, gesturing to Bast.

"Our new resident therapist, working alongside Dr. Fyrane." he went on.

"Really?" Bast asked Sharp, his tone hopeful.

"You've proven yourself to be worth your weight in gold, my boy." Sharp confirmed.

Bast just nodded as she said that, and finished removing the 'leeches' from her. Once he'd done so, he continued to talk to her, and sat her down gently in one of the chairs that were there.

Once he'd done so, he slowly 'released' her from his allure, and sat down as well, allowing her to fully come to her senses once more.

"You'll still need some time to recover." he told her.

"However, you're out of the woods now." he said.

"Just remember those scenery exercises if it starts to invade your thoughts again."

'...geez...' Bast thought.

"All right." he said.

"Just keep looking at me." he told her, as he started to 'captivate' her, but only so she could focus.

As he did this, he used his demonic side to 'call off' the 'leeches' and have them come to him.

He also spoke to her, telling her what to do to regulate her breathing, and giving her scenes to picture in her mind.

"...Erica?" Sharp addressed her, sounding very concerned.

But before he could say anything more, or do anything... and before Erica could say or do anything, Sebastien stood up and approached her, placing his hands on her shoulders. As he did so, the 'leeches' seemed to stop what they were doing.

"Look into my eyes." he told her.

"Concentrate on them. Just on them." he said further.

"Tell me what happened."

"Sure." Ilias replied.

"I'll get right on that." he told her.

-some time later-

Sharp sighed as he sat at his desk, looking over a paper, with Sebastien sitting in front of the desk.

"Well, your education IS impressive." Sharp said.

"No real practical experience, though." he muttered. "And we DO already have a competent therapist on premises..." he went on.

Sebastien just sighed quietly. He had a feeling it would go this way, but he figured he would try anyway.

Ilias nodded.

"I'm all right." he said.

"The rune didn't get to me or anything." he told her.

"I can help you get to Agent Sharp's office if you like." he then offered.

Ash looked over towards Ilias, gave a small two-finger wave, and disappeared.

Ilias then stepped closer towards Kiah.

"There anything I can do for you?" he asked her.

"Anything to help you out or anything?"
