"Oh! Thank you." Bast responded.

"Thank you very much." he said to her, before nodding and going.

He made his way to Jordan's room, knocking on the door and stepping in.

"Hey." he greeted her when he saw her awake.

Bast watched her go, before leaving her office as well and finding the seating area.

He then sat down, and hung his head a little.

"..." he was silent, sighing quietly, and staring at the floor.

He'd never seen Jordan like that before. It unnerved him, he wouldn't lie.

"I have the info I came for." Sharp responded, standing up.

"Do let me know about any developments." he said to Angela, before leaving.

Bast didn't say anything, and sighed.

"I might hang around." he said.

"Wait for Jordan to come to."

"I see." Sharp responded.

"But she'll be all right?" he asked.

"She will be." Angela replied.

Bast thought about it for a moment, and shrugged.

"If she does, she's never told me." he said.

"So just give her what you have the most stock of, or what you'll miss the least."

Just as Bast took a seat, there was a knock on her door, and she called for them to enter.

"I assume you know why I'm here." Sharp said upon entering.

"So let's cut to chase." he said further.

"I need all the pertinent details." he continued, sitting down in another chair.

"I will." Sebastien replied.

The call was then ended, and he looked at Angela.

"I guess I should tell Agent Sharp that we're here." he said.

But that's when they heard footsteps approaching, and Angela knew who they belonged to.

Sebastien sighed and recounter the encounter.

He told her everything, but spared the details on how he subdued her.

"So I brought her here." he finished.

"Used with Zeke gave me, because it was the quickest way to get her medical attention."

"That's true." Bast replied.

"Guess it's an open-and-shut case." he said.

"Just wonder why." he went on.

"And I'll call them right away." he told her, taking his phone out and calling Desiree.

When she answered, he said Jordan was at the Unit, in the medical wing, and would be fine.

Bast caught the ball and did what she asked.

He felt the mana come off of him and go into the ball.

Already she could see the relief in his eyes.

"Much better already." he said.

"I'll have to ask her what happened..." he then said further, referring to Jordan.

"Looked like she was doing her best to not do that." Bast said.

"Even told me to get away." he said further.

"But who knows what could have happened." he went on.

"Just glad she's safe now." he said.

"And she'll be okay."

"Yes." Sebastien said.

"It's still on me." he told her.

"And it's not comfortable." he said further.

"So it would be great to 'take the edge off'." he continued.

"Right." Bast responded as he started to follow.

As they walked, he told her what Desiree had called him about, how he'd gotten no answer from Jordan, what had awaited him when he went to his vacation home, and the state that Jordan had been in.

He described their altercation, sparing no details, save for the nitty-gritty about his demonic charms.

"So after she collapsed, I used the transport capsule that Zeke gave me to get straight here." he finished.

"I think Jordan seriously needs help."

'...wow.' he thought, after a pause. 'Not even the sheer compulsion of lust was able to keep her going.' he realised. Normally it would overtake everything, and the victim would ignore their body's cries for rest, but he suspected her energy was SO low, that wasn't an option. That, or his seductive powers were weakened from being half-human.

Regardless, this wasn't the time to think about it.

She needed help, and she needed it NOW. She needed medical attention, and there was only one place he could think of right now. The Unit in San Diego. Normally he would have to go through security, but Zeke had given him something. It was a special capsule-like device filled with mana, that would allow him to bypass the security around the building. And it would notify the one in charge that someone had arrived using it, giving him the full identity/identities of the one(s) using it.

And because it was stated to be used for emergencies, the designated landing point was the Medical Wing.

He was grateful for this, now more than ever, as he fished it out of his pocket, lifted Jordan in his arms, ignoring the bleeding from his mouth, and threw the capsule onto the floor by his feet. It broke, and they were surrounded by swirling mana, causing them to disappear, and reappear in the medical wing of the Unit, with Bast wincing a little in recoil from it.

"Damn celestial mana. It burns." he growled to himself.

She had caught him off guard in that moment... and if his mother had seen that, she would have been ashamed by him. However, because of the lessons he'd had in the past, he was quick to react.

Before she could go in for the kill, he grabbed her by the sides of her head, and planted his lips right into hers.

He didn't care if she initially bit him, he kissed her. As passionately as he dared, meaning he was putting his full effort into trying to seduce her.

All he wanted was for the charm of his DNA to take over... it was the only way he could think of to stop her from attacking, without hurting her.

'Please work...' he thought, as he continued to caress her lips with his own.
