He was silent as he heard that.

"...why?" he asked.

"Jordan, what's happening?" he asked her through the door.

He looked at the closed door again, before reaching for it, and grabbing the handle.

He held his breath for a moment, and opened it slowly, peering inside to see what would await him.

"....okaaaay..." he mumbled.

"Kinda creepy and spooky." he said.

He then cleared his throat and looked around.

"Jordan!?" he called out.

"Hey! Where are ya!?" he asked, as he started to walk about.

"You in here!?"

"Yeah... yeah, sure, not a problem." Sebastien responded.

"I'll let you know as soon as I get any info." he told her.

They then ended the call, and he pondered what could have happened.

'I know it's been a while since I was at the place...' he thought, before calling Jordan's cell phone, and getting no answer.

"...that's concerning." he muttered.

He then found a private area where he wouldn't be seen, and used his mana to open a path through hell, jumping through it, and landing in darkness.

"What the..." he mumbled, looking around.

Sebastien smiled in response.

"Hey, no worries." he replied.

"I'll do anything for ya." he told her, stepping up close and wrapping an arm around her waist, pulling her close to him.

He then leaned in and kissed her on the lips... and just as she was starting to feel that compulsive magnetic attraction to him, he pulled away and it disappeared as quickly as she'd felt it.

He smirked when he saw her 'return to her senses', and made his way to the door.

"Later, hot stuff." he said with a wink and a point.

Bast just sighed again.

"All right." he said.

"Odds are I won't be gone TOO long." he told her.

"Or maybe I will. I have no idea." he said further, shaking his head.

"Gimme a call if you need or want anything. I'll pop by when I can." he went on.

"Hope things settle down soon, though." he then said.

"Because your mother's mana going nuts sounds... dangerous, to understate it."

"...wow." Bast muttered.

"That's... quite something." he commented, before sighing.

"All right, let's get your shoulder back into joint." he then told her, as she stepped up and got into position.

Bast then grabbed her arm and quickly... yet carefully... popped it back into socket, causing a shooting pain throughout her body for a few seconds... but it dissipated as quickly as it came.

And she could move her arm again.

"Feel all right?" he asked her.

"..." Bast was silent for a moment, hearing that.

"I..." he stammered.

"Firstly, sure. You can hide out at my cabin." he told her.

"Secondly, pop your shoulder back into joint." he asked. "Sounds like there's a story behind that..." he muttered.

"But sure, I can do that." he continued.

"Where and when? After you get to the cabin or before?"

"..." Bast was silent as he saw the box.

"No way..." he muttered, making his way over and tearing into it. He was stunned by what he saw, before a grin spread out over his face.

"AW HELL YEAH!" he cried out, lifting the snowboard up in his arms.

"I am going to SHRED some slopes!" he declared, looking over the piece of equipment.

"Top of the line, too." he noticed.

"Man, they went all out."

Bast just laughed out loud.

"That's a good way of looking at it!" he exclaimed.

"Regardless, we're here." he said.

"Let's explore." he told her.

"We'll start with the upper floor. Odds are that's where the bedrooms are, and where our wardrobes are, and that surprise that was alluded to earlier is." he reasoned.

"Or, well, that's where I'LL be headed first."

"She does." Bast responded.

"In her own way." he said.

"...she's... well... hm." he mumbled. "For a demon, she cares an awful lot." he said further.

"That's really the best way to put it." he sighed.

"A lot of people would think her to be unloving or neglectful, but she was there when I was a baby. She cared for me and took care of me, so she DOES love me. Or... she feels the emotion that's as close to love as she gets, for me." he went on.

"I know, my family is... well... different."

Bast just nodded and smirked.

"And away we go!" he said, stepping jauntily through it.

When he emerged on the other side, he found a VERY cozy atmosphere greeting him. It looked like the perfect place in the Swiss Alps. It looked like just the place to stay warm in a snowstorm.

And he had to admit, while he didn't mind the cold, a roaring fire felt GOOD.

He stepped forward to allow Jordan to pass through behind him, and surveyed the area.

"Daaaaamn." he said.

"Most kids just get a car." he commented. "I pity them." he chuckled.

The 4 of them exchanged parting pleasantries, and they then parted ways, with Aimee and Uriel leaving to head home, and Bast and Jordan making their way to where they wouldn't be seen when they left.

"Well then." he mumbled.

"Finally finished." he said.

"So, I assume we'll be using YOUR mana to get there?" he asked her.

"Mine's a little... well... volatile..." he muttered, shaking his head.

"Non-demons tend to not handle it well." he sighed.

Bast just winked and pointed at her.

"Always." he said.

"Rarely moral, but ALWAYS legal." he told them.

"...you ARE your mother's son..." Uriel muttered, looking at Aimee.

"Let's go." he told her.

"Maybe check in on Angela." he said.

"Let me know if anything's serious." Bast said to them. "If you find anything out, that is."

Uriel flinched when he heard that, and cleared his throat loudly.

"What she MEANS is that I had permission from your parents to check your existing wardrobes, to see what sizes you both are, as well as find out what styles you like." he clarified.

"..." Bast was silent and raised an eyebrow.

"Uh... huh." he said.

"Aimee..." Uriel said to his love through gritted teeth.

"Did you REALLY have to phrase it like THAT?" he asked her.
