Nate nodded in response.

"Okay." he said.

"Good." he mumbled. "Good..." he repeated.

"We'll see how long it takes for her to wake up." Ilias then commented.

"Once we see how she is, we'll proceed with the others if it is prudent." he reasoned.

"...thank you both so much." Nate said quietly.

Ilias continued to observe her, and watched as she seemed to pass out from the pain after about 7 minutes. He checked the machines and saw that her vitals were still the same, and sighed.

"All right." he said.

"Good." he muttered.

"Now... to wait." he went on, as Nate and Robyn stepped into the room.

"Is everything ok!?" Nate exclaimed.

"So far." Ilias replied.

"When she wakes up... she should have Ebony back." he told them.

Ilias just shrugged.

"Nothing." he said.

"Just... expect discomfort and discombobulation." he told her.

"Apparently this should essentially be a miracle cure, stitching souls back to bodies seamlessly." he went on.

"So just lay down, get comfortable, and... we'll go." he said.

Once she did, and gave the okay, he filled a needle with the right amount for her, made sure it was set to go, found a vein in her arm, and injected the serum.

'And now... we hope.' he thought.

Ilias sighed quietly.

"Hey." he said.

"Quiiiiiick question." he muttered.

"I have a serum that... well... should reverse the effects of the soul separation." he told her. "But... we need someone to test it on." he said further.

"You're capable of giving consent, want to be the guinea pig?" he asked her.

"You CAN say no, but you were the first that came to mind."

Savra was amazed at the food that Eke was grabbing.

"Go on." Ryker told them.

"While there's still food." he chuckled.

Savra nodded and got up to look at what was there, and Ryker looked to Eke and smirked.

"So." he said.

"Eating light, I see." he playfully jabbed.

Ilias nodded in response.

"All right." he said, before heading off.

As he did, Nate almost collapsed at the desk.

"Thank... heavens..." he said.

"Everything is falling apart here." he told her.

"Any good news would be... I mean... just..." he stammered, shaking his head.

"A godsend, frankly."

"That's just because I am." Nate responded. "We're all getting stressed here in the medical wing." he said.

"And Alicja's in the break room." he told them.

"...the one that DIDN'T have the incident." he muttered.

"Right." Ilias responded.

"Well, if all goes well, we have a solution to all this." he told Nate, which caused him to perk up immediately.

"Really???" he asked.

"...another good question." Ilias muttered, as they reached the medical wing, where they saw an exasperated Nate at the reception.

He looked over towards them, and his eyes opened a little.

"...PLEASE tell me you have good news." he said.

"Please?" he asked.

"We need it at this point." he told them, desperation in his tone.

"...yeah. I think it will." Ilias replied as they walked.

"I mean... Chloe seems to know what she's... it's... ugh, whatever, Chloe seems capable." he said.

"Programmed to be, anyway, it seems." he clarified.

"And... it made sense what she said." he shrugged.

"That's an amazing piece of tech, though." he then admitted.

"Wonder who the programmer is..."

Ilias just sighed.

"Right." he said.

"One moment." he told her.

He then grabbed a petri dish and, with some coaxing and reassuring, got some more venom from Helena, before returning it to Chloe.

"Here." he said.

"Robyn, let's get out of here." he told Gem.

"Fine Alicja, or someone else, to administer the test dosage to." he said further, after confirming the optimal dose parameters from Chloe.

"Got it." Ilias said, before looking at Chloe.

"Ah, yes." he said.

"How much have you made?" he asked her.

"As in, how much do you have, in terms of treating individuals?" he clarified.

"Are you going to require more venom from Helena?" he asked further.

"...because if you do, might as well get it NOW." he sighed.

"...huh." Ilias muttered.

"That's... remarkable." he said.

"Guess we'll need to test it first." he went on, thinking about it.

"But who?" he asked.

"Who should the first test subject be?" he asked further.

"Any ideas?" he asked Robyn.

"I know Alicja can give us actual consent, should it be her?"

Ilias was silent again, before pondering it.

"The hardware makes sense for it to be TechRetti, but... yes, they don't do software. At least not software that is surely as intricate as yours is." he commented.

"But WHO would have done this...?" he wondered.

"Hmmmm." he mumbled.

"I... hmph." he muttered further, before shaking his head.

"Regardless, you have a solution for our soul separation issue?" he asked.

"Is that was that massive expulsion of mana was about?"

Ilias let out a heavy sigh.

"Right." he said.

"That explains it." he said further, looking to Robyn.

"This isn't a person." he told her.

"This isn't a living being." he commented further.

"This is a... well... a robot." he concluded.

"I think, anyway."
