Ilias nodded in response.

"All right." he said.

"Do you want me to carry you?" he asked.

"Or see if I can get Agent King to do so?" he asked further, before pausing.

"...or do you think you can get there on your own power?" he then asked her.

"Regardless, I AM accompanying you." he declared.

"....hm." Ilias muttered.

"I... admittedly, I'm not sure." he said.

"I don't know much about the mana elements of many of the people here." he said further.

"Maybe Gem or Aedan?" he suggested.

"They're not electric mages, but they may be able to take a jolt or two."

"....duly noted." Ilias replied with a small laugh.

"But still... this isn't good." he mumbled.

He was then silent for a moment, and sighed.

"Want me to help you get to the medical wing?" he asked.

"Or get someone to come here?" he asked further.

"Because... well, it's clear that moving is a chore for you right now, and understandably so."

Ilias just shrugged.

"I wish I knew." he said.

"Though I DID overhear something earlier." he told her.

"It seems like the electrical outlets in the I.T. department are dangerous... guess whatever was happening THERE has spread out to the rest of the building." he informed her.

"....you should go to the medical wing." he suggested.

"Make SURE you're okay..."

Her cry of surprise had not gone unnoticed, and the one that heard it, Ilias, came into the room.

"Kiah!?" he exclaimed.

"Oh, no..." he mumbled, seeing her.

"Kiah, are you all right?" he asked, making his way over.

"What happened?" he asked further.

It was clear he was immensely concerned for her right now, and it was understandable.

Hal was silent for a moment, thinking about it.

"Do it." he said.

"And I know nothing about this, nor can I speculate on suspects." he told her.

"This seemingly just came out of nowhere, earlier today." he went on.

"But, enough chit-chat." he then said.

"Go." he told her.

"The sooner you and Agent Callimachi can whip something up for this, the better."

He just shrugged.

"I have no clue." he said.

"If you can concoct something to make it that we can shut down all our main systems... ie: unplug the servers without getting potentially lethal doses of electricity, then go for it." he told her.

"Otherwise, there's nothing ANYONE can do." he growled.

"This is a pointed attack at us, through our technology." he continued.

"And our I.T. team is borderline useless here."

Savra froze when Eke hugged them and suggested they come along.

"M-m-me?" they stammered.

"Are... are you sure?" they asked.

"I endangered you both." they said. "I HURT you." they went on.

"You... still want me with you?" they asked further, finding themselves leaning into Eke's embrace.

Love you too. he sent back to Hollie, before growling to himself.

"All right." he muttered.

"Time to let it be known that the building is under lockdown." he said.

He then made his way back to his office, got on the P.A. system, and made the emergency announcement. He knew a lot of people wouldn't like it, but this was the way it was right now.

"Damn it." he cursed, after turning the system off.

"Is this really what's going to end us?" he wondered.

"....I wish more people thought like you." Savra responded.

"But they don't." they lamented.

"I'm... really sorry for what happened." they then apologised.

"But... thank you for stopping me." they said further. "If that storm had kept going, then I think I would have flooded the area." they then guessed.

"...so what are you going to do now?" they inquired.

"Duly noted." Hal responded.

"Again, keep it up, but don't needlessly endanger yourselves." he told her.

He then left the department, and cursed internally.

'Means that the barrier is probably what happened.' he thought.

'...splendid.' he muttered internally, before taking out his cell phone and texting Lunet.

Won't be home for the foreseeable future. he sent her, before giving her a very truncated explanation in the following text.

He then did the same for Hollie.

Savra still looked guilty, but nodded.

"Okay." they said.

"...sorry about your condition." they went on.

"You seem too nice to have one." they commented.

"...life really isn't fair, it seems..." they then mumbled.

"......hm." Hal mumbled.

"Checking up." he said.

"So the virus is still an issue, but you can at least unplug things now?" he asked.

"Because that is still improvement." he reasoned.

He was then silent, as to allow her to answer.

He had to know if the wish had worked, and if so, how.

"It's all I ask." Hal responded.

"Thank you." he told her.

He then left the medical wing, and made his way back to the I.T. department.

"All right." he said when he stepped in.

"Situation update." he told them.

"Better? Worse? The same?"
