Hal was silent again, and snapped his fingers.

"Keep an eye on him." he told her.

"See what happens." he went on.

"...Angela." he then mumbled. "Let's hope we've seen the worst of this." he said.

"Let's hope this gets better now." he went on.

"I'm not holding onto good hope, though, I admit."

"...I don't know." Hal admitted.

"This situation is new to me." he told her.

"If you think he has the right to die here, and that would be preferable, then that is your medical opinion and judgement, and I will respect that." he said.

"I'm just saying the option is there, if you think it worth the risk." he went on.

"...so say it now." he said.

"If you think it is, then make the wish." he told her further.

"...if not, then continue on your way, and I shall do so, myself."

Hal paused for a moment.

"....Jared's a good man." he said.

"Before I go... and I know you hate using my power for this, and I'm not a fan of it, either, but... I'll make an exception here." he told her.

"If you want to make one more wish, do so." he said.

"I'll understand, and try and grant it." he assured her.

"Jared... what happened to him is beyond what was expected of him. I would hate to see him go because of something like THIS." he mumbled.

"But this IS at your discretion." he finished.

Hal just sighed.

He then brought his hands up, and snapped BOTH his fingers.

This caused a massive pulse of mana to erupt from him, almost making the entire building vibrate for a second.

"...." he then silent for a moment, looking around.

"Admittedly, I don't know which happened." he told her.

"If anything DID." he added.

"I might need to do some recon and find out."

Savra was silent for a moment, before looking at Eke.

"...not the reaction I usually receive." they replied.

"But then again, most people want to kill me." they sighed.

"...a dragon huh? Cool." they then said.

"Are you all right from last night?" they asked.

Hal's jaw almost dropped.

"...." he was silent, and looked at where she'd come from.

"What... what the hell IS this virus...?" he asked quietly.

"Angela, we're under attack, in more ways than one." he told her.

"Our database and files are under attack, and it seems like there's dangerous amounts of electricity in the walls surrounding the machines here." he went on.

"...this might be it for us. We can't even do a final, hard, abrupt shutdown."

"..." he was silent for a moment, before approaching her.

"Angela." he addressed her.

"What's going on?" he asked.

"If everything all right?" he asked further.

He was almost afraid to learn the answer, but he had to know.

He needed to know what was happening here.

"Well, keep trying!" Hal responded.

"...but don't endanger yourselves." he added.

He then turned and hastily made his way down to the medical wing, to see if things were all right there.

However, one thing kept poking at his mind.

Was this it?

Was this the end of the Unit?

What about the safety of all that were there? Where would they go? Would they be hunted?

Were their identities being leaked?

"....." Savra was silent again for a moment.

"...a Raiju." they responded.

Raiju were known as many things, depending on who one asked, but the truth of the matter, behind all the mythology, was that a Raiju was a lupine elemental creature of lightning, with shape-shifting capablities.

And they were often companions to dragons.

Looking closer, Eke could see hints of pronounced sharp canine teeth threatening to poke out from Savra's mouth.

It also seemed like their hair was scraggly and mussed, like a wolf's pelt.

Hal responded by slamming his fist into the closest wall.

"Damn it!" he cursed.

"Then overload it!" he told them.

"Shut down the main power!" he said.

"Losing all the data is preferable to it being leaked!" he reasoned.

"...or are you saying Jared tried to unplug it, and was shocked?" he then asked, sounding a bit worried now.

"Our security has been compromised!" Hal responded.

"And if nobody here can do anything to stop this, we're initiating 'Operation Blackout'!" he declared.

"If you have an alternate solution, tell me NOW." he told her.

"And I mean in the next 10 seconds." he stressed.

"If I hear none, initiate Operation Blackout!"

"You do that." Hal responded.

When she left, he looked at his phone, and his computer, before leaving his office and marching down to the IT department, practically busting the door down.

"What's going on to stop this virus!?" he exclaimed.

"I need answers. NOW!" he demanded.

If nothing else, he would need to shut everything down in the next 10 seconds if he didn't receive an answer.

"Damn it." Hal cursed again.

"What the HELL is I.T. doing!?" he exclaimed.

"All right, we're going to have to take everything offline. We've been compromised." he told her, standing up.

"I have no idea what this is, but we need to expect the worst." he said further.

"For all we know, our existence is being leaked online at the very moment."

"..." Hal was silent for a moment, before cursing to himself.

"Damn it all." he said.

He then checked something on his computer, and his eyes widened.

"...where...?" he muttered.

"I... some of this files are corrupted to the point of being junk." he said.

"Agent Windsor... I think a virus finally got through."
