"...I'm fine." Ilias responded.

"Robyn and I were banging our heads against the wall, so to speak for the longest while." he told her. "...and then we got some serious help." he went on.

"And it's FAR too complicated to explain right now." he added with a heavy sigh.

"Just know we got some help, and it was... needed. Very much so." he said further.

"Regardless, you can start administering the serum, and let us know when you run out." he went on.

"...or, rather, we should have more already made in the lab, so I'll go and bring the rest here." he changed his statement.

Ilias nodded in response.

"You're welcome." he responded.

"Alicja woke up with a borderline migraine, after about half an hour of being passed out." he told her.

"During that time, and for about 7 minutes prior, she was in significant physical distress." he warned. "However, that should merely be because reuniting a soul with a body is... well, I'm sure it's traumatic." he mumbled.

"Regardless, it should be normal for the patient to exhibit signs of great pain."

Ilias entered and Angela shut the door. The two then made their way to her desk, with him sitting in front and her sitting behind, before clearing his throat.

"Dr. Edwards, I will skip all the formalities and get to the point." he told her.

He reached into his pocket and pulled out the container of serum he had, handing it over towards her.

"See that?" he asked, as she accepted it.

"We used that on Alicja, with her consent, and it brought Ebony back." he told her.

"So this can be used to bring back everyone else afflicted with this soul separation nonsense." he finished.

"Got it." Ilias responded.

He then opened the door and turned, only to stop abruptly.

"...be warned, she has a headache." was all he said.

Then, after he left, Nate (expectedly) poked his head in and started making his way to Alicja.

Meanwhile, Ilias made his way to the closed door to Angela's office, and knocked on it.

"Dr. Edwards?" he called in.

"It's Ilias." he said.

Ilias just sighed.

"I... I'm one of those 'out of the loop' people." he admitted.

"I mean... really?" he went on, before pausing and looking around.

"...admittedly, I found out about Jake and Anya last month." he told her.

"Yes. Last month. It was news to me, then." he revealed.

"So... forgive me for... well, it's unintentional, but I'm kinda like a mushroom. Kept in the dark, but I do it to myself." he muttered further.

"Perhaps I should socialise outside of the lab more..."

"Well... I mean, yes, but-" Ilias started to respond, but then stopped.

And thought.

And the gears started to slowly turn and grind... until the gerbil in the wheel was running full tilt.

"Wait." he said.

"Are... you saying that Nate and yourself are... together?" he asked her.

"In an official capacity?" he asked further.

She now saw a bit of a horrified look in Ilias' eyes.

"Excuse me?" he asked.

"This... this does not sound like appropriate behaviour." he told her.

"This definitely sounds like something that should be reported." he added sternly.

It seemed like he'd missed the 'at home' part, which would cause him to make the natural inference... however, it seemed like he honestly was starting to think that Nate was... well... harassing her.

Ilias was on his way out while she was saying this, before freezing at the end.

"I... what?" he asked.

"Your...?" he started to ask further, before raising an eyebrow.

"I see..." he said.

"Is this... unwanted, or burdensome?" he asked her.

"Should something be done about this?"

"Excellent." Ilias responded.

"That is excellent news." he told her.

"That means that we should be ready to use this on the other victims of this." he went on.

He paused for a moment, before standing up.

"Nate has been quite worried about you." he told her.

"I'm going to inform him that you are awake and reasonably all right. Do you not want visitors, or feel you could tolerate one, as long as it's him?" he chuckled.

"Because regardless, I am going to report to Angela about this." he added.

Not 3 seconds later, she received a response.

"Already thought of that." Ilias said from off to the side.

"While you were out, I asked Nate to bring a few common medications for small medical problems... like a headache, nausea, that sort of thing." he informed her, before grabbing a bottle of water and a tiny plastic pill cup with a couple of tablets in it.

"Here." he said, handing them to her.

"So... a headache, you say?" he asked.

"Is there anything else of note that you're feeling and/or experiencing?" he asked her further.

Savra was silent for a moment, thinking about it.

"Uh..." they stammered.

"Well, I... I don't really know." they admitted.

"I've never paid much attention to it." they said further.

"But I think I'm close to a couple of centuries old." they added, which... for a Raiju... was about the same age as Eke.

"I shouldn't." Ilias responded. "I'm going to remain here and monitor Alicja." he told her.

Nate just shook his head.

"I'm good." he said.

"...and thanks." he then mumbled. "I needed that." he told her.

"Hm?" Ilias mumbled.

"Miss Robyn helped me calm down a little and destress." Nate responded. "She's good at that." he went on.

"She really can be." Ilias agreed.

Ryker laughed again, as Savra retuned with a bit of all the different meats, and some waffles.

"Cool." Ryker said.

"I'll be back." he told them, getting up to get his own food.

"...wow." Savra mumbled, taking a bite.

"This food is really good." they said.

"Been a while since I've had meat."

"....Chloe?" Nate asked.

"Long story." Ilias muttered.

"It's better for you to meet Chloe, yourself." he told him.

"...ah. Well... fair enough, then, I guess." Nate responded.

"I'm going to tell Dr Edwards..." he then started to say, before pausing.

"No. I'm going to wait." he said.

"I am going to come to her with DEFINITE good news."
