I almost got to clock out from work at 420 today, but right as I punched out it changed to 4:21. The worst.

@Miss Kitty: Yooooo that's not even bad! I love how nice this site is to us all. Some older sites I had to quit because the stress of items/currency (which I know is stupid, it shouldn't have been stressful but I was also like 14 with no life) was too much for me to handle.

Yeah that was my train of thought. I was worried the event shop might close while I was at work so I just went and dumped all my fuses lmaooo. Oh well; they're pretty easy to earn. I'm already up to 120.

I only have 80 because I'm an idiot and spent my other 240 on stuff last night because I thought the event was over HAHAHA

@Eruca: Yeah that was my thought about overriding post-style fonts, or some kinda code to make sure all fonts are readable under a certain layout. That might be some really fancy stuff though.

Yeah that's a very good point though. And it could make it tricky for people who like to use bright/dark colors on their post styles.
There's an rp site I used to be on that let people choose their own theme, so everyone was using different colors in their posts and it was an ungodly mess to behold sometimes. There was no right or wrong or best theme, just a clustermess of bad colors lol

Sounds like they're gonna make it an option to have the dark layout in the future, but I desire it now.

My two cents on "you don't need anything to prove yourself/you don't need to transition to be trans" -- while that's technically true, I think a lot of environmental and cultural aspects play a role so it's not as simple as that. For me, it's less about proving myself and more about creating a body that I'm able to live in, because right now I'd almost rather die I find it hard to inhabit my current body, especially with how other people treat me based on how I look. I do feel like I need to prove to myself that I'm a man somehow, while also accepting the parts I can't change. If that makes sense?

And on the parental thing, I don't plan to disown any family but I'm sure a number of them will disown me. I'll always leave that door open for them to come back though. I waited until I was financially independent before coming out as queer (officially I'm still a butch lesbian) and I'm glad I did, because my mother didn't take it well and has halfway disowned me for it. I expect her to stop talking to me when I say I'm trans (we have a lot of problems though; she's also disowned by cisgender hetero brothers because she doesn't agree with their choices).

I would think Hangouts or the writing/literature forum? Since it's writing practice/character development. That's a really cool thread idea.
