@Wildfire: My hair is longer than it has been in a very long time. Told the hairdresser she could cut it off, but she liked the challenge of longer hair. lol!
She bleached out my brown hair, platinum blonde, and then dyed it a dusty bluuueee. :33
Good Morning.

I got my hair dyed yesterday and it's refreshing.. took 7 hours. o3o"
@Wildfire: Baby was pretty sick yesterday and last night. oof.
I'm pretty sure it is the flu. my stomach has been turning the last 3 days while everyone else here has had coughing, sneezing, and runny faces for over a week now.
My roommie is pretty serious about wanting to garden, so I think he'll be joining my yard adventures this spring.
He has higher ambitions than I do, so we'll see if he really goes as far as building a fenced-in garden on the half of the yard we don't use. XD
My mom has a decade +some of experience with hiring housekeepers. So when I told her the company added a one-time fee, she got all huffy and told me not to hire them.
@Wildfire: I'm hoping to try squash again, they died last year- midsummer. So attempt #2
Definitely going to grow peppers, those work super well here.
mmm, strawberries died last year pretty early because of the heat.
So, I guess I'll do peppers, carrots, and squash for now.
squash = garden space though and I don't have one ready for them. <.<

Baby caught the cold/flu virus in my house. :c So far I'm the only one not sick, ... and my upstairs renter isn't either.
My daughter was the first sick and she's 90% better now. Slight cough when she laughs.

My mom offered to pay for a housekeeper, but I got a quote last week and it's too high for the little jobs I wanted to be done. :c They gave me a quote, I agreed on it. I mentioned it might be a one time deal and they put another 50$ on the quote because of a 'one time fee'. /stupid.
@Wildfire: yeah, older kids are definitely old enough to help. They have their chores.. which they dutifully forget to do now that I'm busy with baby. =3=
I rope in my roommate for heavy lifting and annoying tasks. My husband for repairs and errands.
But cleaning and organizing fall on my shoulders.
We're getting into planting season now. The cold nights are getting warmer.
I'm probably going to start my garden this weekend. Just potted stuff, I don't have time to make the raised bed like I wanted to do. My roommate wants to make a garden though, so there's a good chance I can rope him into it. hehehe.
@Wildfire: rest is not in my near future, sadly. I try and tidy the house when I've got the energy when baby-free, but it's a losing battle right now.
I'm just imagining you shaking your fist by the window, watching the squirrel free roam your garden. XD
Squirrels are menaces. I'm sorry it's eating your garden. >:C
I'm excited for you ~ craft fairs are fun. I've done them before with my family. :d
@Wildfire: high-risk pregnancies do that to a person, I hadn't wanted to tell anyone about it. But my husband was excited. XD
If we ever do get pregnant again- I'm not telling anyone, the chances of another successful pregnancy dropped quite a bit.
I'm starting to feel the sickness hitting me, but I'm ignoring it until everyone is feeling better and I can actually crash without stressing.
Oh, I'm pretty good. Peeved with how let-go the house is. butttt it is what it is.
how are you doing?
@Wildfire: definitely wish there was a nearby or in-house support friend. lol. someone I can hand the baby to when my husband is at work, OR someone to cook. XD
I can't afford a nanny. lol
Kids are feeling better, they just have a cough now. My husband got really sick last night and slept all night, he's feeling better this morning. This leaves me drinking lots of water, eating oranges, taking vitamins, and being sleep deprived from late nights with a baby.
I finally posted pics and announced I had a baby on FB. lol, few people didn't know I was pregnant. I giggled at some of the comments of "OH WOW didn't know you were pregnant!"
@Wildfire: not a minor cold like I thought. Both my kids are sick and miserable. + one roommate.
So I've been doing my best to avoid the germs reaching the baby. =3= I'm tired.
My daughter has been home sick from school since last week. Almost a full week away from school. uuuhg.
@Wildfire: Sounds like you have a good day ahead of you. :3

I didn't get sleep last night. Baby decided that's when he should cry. My daughter is still sick with a minor cold. I just keep watching her rub her nose and then touch stuff. Normally that doesn't phase me a whole lot. Germs are germs.
Now I'm just waiting for my older son to get sick. XD then my husband and then me. Per usual.
I'm just finishing this month's finances today and sorting the stack of mail that I haven't touched since I left the household over a month ago.
@Wildfire: I don't have any plans of getting another roommate in the upstairs space. I might transfer my downstairs roommate upstairs, but he'll have to pay slightly more for the bigger space and privacy. Which would give us the downstairs to ourselves again.
My house is best described as A House on top of a house. lol.
I'm glad your kids get along with their half brother. <3
All of my siblings are half. I have two step brothers but, we're distant. We get along but so-so.
Good Morning. :d
I got sick kids this morning and am hoping Baby won't be hit too hard.

I like your avi today! :D
@Wildfire: We can't really afford roommates moving out. /sigh/ but one left and the other will likely soon follow.
I give this situation 2 months to calm down. e;e
on top of all this, my husband is thinking of switching careers. We'll see how that pans out. OTL

My son is finally warming up to baby, he likes the funny faces.
My daughter refers to baby as "it" and "baby" because babies are exciting, she'll likely get less excited as he grows and gradually gets annoying. lol.

Oh my gOSssshh SO CUTE! <33
@Wildfire: I'm doing good. A bit tired, but that's expected with a newborn at home.
I'm exhausted more from the dynamic change in the house. A roommate moved out, the other one wallowing and the two other adults in the house trying to keep the depressed one busy.
-sigh-
It's all so annoying to me.
Anyway, Baby is doing well. He's healthy and ... a lot easier than my first born. /knocks on wood/
