@Wildfire: Are those fruit trees/plants you got doing well?
I've been 'spring cleaning' between baby-free periods. Baby is doing well, he had his first wellness check yesterday. He is gaining weight. -thumbs up-
The new dining table and couch are in place, but I bought a big bookshelf for a good price... and now it's on its side with nowhere to go. lol! it's too tall.
Yesterday, my roommates let me in on their unfortunate drama. My upstairs roomies/renters are very possibly splitting up. Lady roomie is headed out, Very likely not coming back. The guys in the house think she will. /slight eye-roll at their optimism.
and my downstairs roommate, who is in the room beneath theirs is exhausted from hearing their fighting. He's too empathetic. He feels drained and tired even though he's not actually in the middle of their stuff.
MY KIDS COME HOME TOMORROW! or late tonight. :3 probably tomorrow. I hope my mom wouldn't drive the 12 hours straight. but... she might.
@Wildfire: -dances with you- It does feel surreal being home. Last night, I kept thinking I was going to hear a monitor going off because baby ate more than he usually does. So I couldn't sleep. But that's alright. He's healthy, and I know it.
I'm trying to tackle one area at a time. I bought furniture while I was in the city, so I need to go pick that up sometime soon. :O and re-arrange the house to fit the new nice stuff. :d
How are you doing? How's the garden?
@Wildfire: I went home with the baby yesterday! I'm officially home and I have.. a lot to do around the house. I guess when the kids and I leave, my roommate and husband, and dogs go into depression/anxiety. My house is .. a disaster.
36 days in the nicu and 40 days away from home. I went home 3 times for less than 12 hours- just to sleep in my own bed. :d
I'm HOME! -giddy dance- He's Home!!! <3
:}
@Wildfire: i haven't been too busy. Just living day to day, reading books, talking to the charity house residents and spending time in the nicu. And sleeping and eating.
I've gone home 3 nights total in 3 weeks. My dogs will need me to retrain them when im home full time. Roommies are doing bare minimum, which is fine since they are helping.
My kids are back in Wyoming with my mom from Hawaii. And she won't bring them home until we're done with the nicu.
My baby can be discharged once he stops relying on the oxygen. OTL i'm patient.
How've you been. I definitely miss my routine of coffee and computer time chats.
@Wildfire: your garden is looking fabulous! Your hard work definitely shows. :)
@Wildfire: i hope you have fun on your walk/hike with your friends today. :3

Im just popping in for a moment. All is well enough here today. Just tired. I definitely need naps today.
@Wildfire: babe is definitely stable enough i don't need to worry as much. Husband is back to work today and he's spent most of the time at our house since I checked into a charity house next to the hospital.
Going home for a night will, hopefully, be refreshing.
I do miss my doggos and my own space.
@Wildfire: slow and steady progress over here. He's been doing the "few steps forward, one step back" pattern.
Im going to go home tonight and rest. 2 weeks at the hospital is exhausting.
-pops in for a moment-
Oh my gosh. Im loving your changed avatars.
@Wildfire: as far as needs go, i thought i had a few weeks left before arrival so I've been trying to mental inventory all I've gotten for baby at the house. XD
Dust has settled and now my husband needs to decide what kind of schedule he wants to approach with this situation. (With his work n going home to our dogs)
I don't have my laptop, so my replies wont be quick anymore. :d
@Wildfire: i had one breakdown day which broke my husband. Lol so he's been home recovering. XD
I don't think he's really seen me cry-cry.
My water broke last monday. I drove myself to the hospital all while calling my husband and making sure roommate could manage kids and dogs.
I got flown to a Nicu. They tried to keep him in for at least a week, but i lasted 4 days. Went into labor Thursday. Quick birth. Nicu took him and set him up.
He should be fine given a few weeks here. They're goals are to develope the things that needed more development.
Im staying in a non profit housing next to the hospital. That facility is amazing. Im chipper with all things considered. Im recovering quickly.
@Wildfire: so he's a 32 weeker baby. Only 4 lbs born.
So he gets the full nicu setup, oxygen, feeding tube, heating pads, etc.
As of yesterday, i can now hold him for a bit at a time. :3
My other kids are on extended vacation. Lol. My mom came and got them and my sister decided she also wanted to take them. So my kids are gone for 3 weeks, which works for me needing to be by the nicu for a few weeks, at least.
Thank you. :3
@Yae Meiji: no worries. Thank you for looking. :3
