@CycloneKira: I've got exams too. Sucky. *mutual pat*
We'll get through this, get 'em over with. By the power of Vanora! :vanora_glasses:

@dragoness129: Ooh I didn't know there was a Mene discord! Thank you so much, I'm glad there's a place for Menewshans to gather!

@Totalanimefan: I finished an exam and then chilled instead of studying for the next one

Species/Sub-Species: Human
Nationality: Jadean
Short Bio: As the great-grandson of the famed mage, Inigo the Inimitable, Shasta has always felt pressured to perform magic far beyond what he knows to be his capabilities. He spends his days consumed with yearning for stronger magical powers, brooding on ways to strengthen his powers, executing his plans, and failing at them. That's why his skin us sensitive and underexposed for a Jadean; he's stuck in his room poking at his cauldron all day.

He swathes himself completely to protect his skin, generally with a separate bit of drapery to wind around his head and shade his face. He sports long trails of beads, except when they hinder his convenience; often he charms the beads though his charms don't last long. He can put on amulets and rings on occasion, for similar spell-related purposes, but they're not preferred for his comfortable, loose style of garb.

A roleplay by and @littlewhitedragonlet and I.

@Wildfire: Fingers crossed the delegation does a good job! XD

@Wildfire: I probably have to cram for some of them... just not the one I have tomorrow, which is why my prep is chill for now haha.
So you're buying gorceries? I wish you very many delicious meals.

@Kira: The ghostie in your signature is so spooky-cute

@CycloneKira: *American accent* Vanora is Vanorful.
She has a shop here called High Rise Accessories. My fave shop.

@Wildfire: Good on you for getting them out of the way!
I've got midterms to study for but I'm going to do it in a relaxed way.
I'm looking forward to dinner XD

@PoeticTorment: Yay, that's great! :vichardhappy:

How are you today?

Posted in Dragonlet's 1x1 Roleplay Search {Open} Posted 4 years ago

@littlewhitedragonlet: OMG. Yes to all of that!
littlewhitedragonlet:
shapeshifter has a little crush but they think making the wizard more confident in himself is way more important.

I'm melting.
So will we make little character profiles? And separate threads for the RP and for OOC discussion/planning?

@KDA Drew: Ooh, interesting. Crowley's tarot is Thoth-based, and that's basically another system of tarot (I read Rider-Waite-Smith based) so I'm totally unfamiliar with Thoth or how to read that particular deck. Those cards have beautiful art, though, and you're sure to find resources online to learn reading them. And it's wonderful that your copy is vintage too. Adds to the mystical quality, lol. I'm excited for you!
EDIT: I just looked it up and your deck is really valuable. I'm seeing listings for 1969 Thoth decks for over a thousand dollars on Etsy and Ebay. If your deck is in good condition with all the cards intact, you should find out whether your deck is a first edition and where it was printed. The price you can get for it depends partly on what edition it is. You can decide whether or not to sell it, and for how much, after getting more information about your particular deck. If you do decide to sell, make sure your cards don't smell of smoke and are out of reach of pets if you have any- people generally prefer to buy vintage goods from smoke and pet-free homes.

@KDA Drew: Intuitively I'd say it does look like it'll be a shorter time than expected. That's always the thing about tarot readings, you don't always get what you want to hear but you do get what you need to hear. I'm glad they made sense to you! Thank you for the ADORABLE tip!
