Dante eventually fell asleep on the grass once more. He slept lightly, so he'd wake up if anything tried to get at them or whathaveyou.

He woke to the sound of movement and slowly opened his pale eyes. "Yuri..?" He murmured quietly, as if just making sure it was only her and someone or something else.

Nathan smiled a little when she hugged him, and lightly nudged her. "Go on, take a look. I didn't bring you here to feel bad about enjoying yourself." He teased, missing her forehead.

Hayden opened his eyes and looked down at the floor beneath the hospital bed. Where the hell was the doctor? He wanted to leave.. He wanted to go home with Aria and lay in bed with her, or sit on the couch like they were watching a movie. All this talking and thinking about depressing things only made this all the harder for him. It's why he couldn't quit all those times before, when he tried. What could he say to her? His attention shot to the door when a knock sounded, not relaxing much when the doctor walked in. "Hayden Hunter?" The man asked, earning a nod from Hayden.

"I wouldn't say 'okay'..but I'm better. Definitely better." He said with a light smirk after she kissed him, and led her to the library. He opened the doors for her, revealing the massive library. (think beauty and the beast) Then he turned to her and grinned. "You are welcome to read as many books as your heart desires."

Hayden closed his eyes and quietly listened to her soft words. "This isn't your fault, Aria.. If I hadn't been so stupid, this wouldn't have happened. If I hadn't fallen in with the group of guys from high school, I wouldn't be killing myself just to start fresh. If my father--" He suddenly got quiet and lowered his head some while resting against her. "If my father hadn't been so focused on my future.. Maybe he wouldn't noticed my suffering.." He murmured quietly.

Nathan inhaled slowly as an attempt to calm down, then raised his head. "She's not mad not after the talk we had with her." He murmured, offering her a faint smile. He gently took her hand. "Let me show you our castle's library. " He suggested, knowing how much she loved books.

Despite not really wanting to be touch by anyone, Aria wasn't just 'someone' and her rubbing his back really helped him keep his nerves calm. Just her being there was enough to keep him calm -ish. The nurse glanced at Aria when she spoke and lightly folded her arms over her chest. "You friend is a real mess. It's obvious he's recovering from dropping a bad habit, it's also obvious he didn't go to rehabilitation. He wouldn't be in this bad of a shape." Hayden tensed. "You're kidding, right?" He voiced dryly. "Just get the doctor, would you?" He asked quietly. The nurse glanced at him before leaving the room to fetch the doctor.

"What a load of bull.." He mused quietly once the door had closed, and he lightly leaned against Aria for comfort.

Nathan held her tightly, trying his best to hide his anxieties, but he was shaking a littke. "That's what I'm worried about. Natalie is a lot like father, and if she finds out about her mother missing- I'm afraid she'll go out looking by herself. We can't tell her." He hardly ever lost his cool, but deep down he was honestly terrified.

What choice did he have? It was either that or rehab.. And rehab was hell. A hell of a lot worse than what he was going through now.

Eventually they were called back, and they weren't going to allow Aria back with him in his current state, but he wrapped around her like a candy wrapper. So, they let her back with him just to keep him calm. He had Aria sit on the bed with him as the nurse took his vitals and frowned. It was obvious that he was coming off something.

Nathan only buried his head in her neck. "If being Prince doesn't kill me first.." He murmured . "I don't know what to do, Siriene.. Father will most likely have a search party of guards out looking for the missing merpeople, and if he joins them then Natalie and I will have to watch over the kingdom until he returns.."

Once they arrived Hayden had to at least attempt to fill out some papers and then they had to wait, but seeing his condition, he wouldn't be waiting long. He found a row of empty bench-seats because of how early it was and laid down while he waited.

One likes girls and is pretty much a female version of inuyasha
While the other knows shippo but doesn't "like" him lol I guess I could pair her with miroku :p

Hmmm.. With ouran I have an oc who is in a love triangle between Tamaki and hikaru but ends up with hikaru in the end xD could squeeze that in there? I can set it up ~<3 and I can handle the one where the guys keeps getting shot down if you didn't mind doing that one first.

Another month went by and his condition seemed to slowly get better. He started eating light foods and the amount of pain he was in lessened as well. One morning though, he all but stumbled out of his room and into the hallway. "...Aria?" He called roughly. It was time to visit the doctor. He was getting better, but now he felt like his health was seriously at risk and wasn't sure what to do. He still had a pretty bad fever and some other things going on that should have passed, or at least lessened.

Natalie smiled until the pair left the bedroom, then she flopped down on her giant seashell of a bed covered with two different blankets and snuggled her pillow. Did she really worry everyone like that? It were times like this that she wished her mother wasn't out and about. Natalie gasped and lifted her head at the thought of her mother. Where was she now, and why wasn't she home? "Mother.. Where are you?"

Nathan sighed quietly and tightly hugged Sirene when she went to cover her face and began speaking. "Sometimes she's like a child that needs to be scorned. She only feels bad because she knows it's the truth.. I don't think that will hurt your friendship." He tried comforting her. "Sirene.. Our mother is one of those missing mermaids.." He murmured softly as he held her close to him. "I will protect you and my sister, no matter what."
