Maddie ran until she couldn't see from all the rain, and ducked down under some shelter. She was exhausted, soaking wet, and freezing, as well as the kitten who wasn't even mewing. Now would be a great time to have a cell phone! Maddie huddled together with the kitten in hopes of giving the little guy some warmth. She wasn't far from Clint's house, but it sure felt like it'd take her forever to get there. After a bit of resting, she got up and started down the sidewalk once more.

Takashi glanced up at his cousin as he walked, when he felt movement. "Are you tired, Mitsukuni?" He asked, concerned for his cousin and curious. She

Alice offered a small smile and have his hand a light squeeze. "I know.." She murmured shyly. She blinked as he spoke and stood quietly. She understood hanging out in the club room with the others, but joining them? No way would mother approve! Well.. Maybe if Tamaki talked to her about it.. Her chest tightened some and she lightly folded her arms loosely over her chest. "I.. I don't know what to say.. It sounds like fun, but mom..." Her voice trailed off some as she spoke. "Let's go to the club room while I think about it." She suggested .

About fifteen minutes passed before the lights came back on, and she had earned herself some bruises, at least she managed to get away from whoever ha d her without getting too badly injured. Or so she thought.. She didn't Aurelie come at her just before the lights came on. Maddie still had the kitten in her arms, and left the church with the kitten as fast as she could. It was still raining, and still pretty dark out.

It all happened so quick that Natalie hardly had time to understand what happened. Shaking her head as Sirene dove under the water after a boy, she quickly followed. Swimming as fast as she could so she could help.

Nathan was awestruck. What just happened? Did they really just go after a human? What happened if he saw them?

Maddie glared at Aurelie, her multi-colored blue eyes widen as the woman slapped her, just as the thunder rumbled and the lightning cracked near by as if striking the ground. The entire building suddenly lost power. Shaking it off, Maddie forced herself free and stumbled around some to get away from them. She could hardly hear the woman telling at her follower as the rain drops hitting the rooftop frowned her out. If she found the kitten, she'd leave before the lights came back on. She listened for any hint of mewing until she could faintly hear one. That's where she went. She did stumble a bit since it was pitch black, but she soon felt the fuzziness of the kitten and carefully brought him into her set clothing. However, as she left for the door she felt hands on her.

Takashi glanced off some when he spoke, then glanced at Mitsukuni and shook his head. "She isn't here, she might be busy." He said casually, taking notice of his behavior. He still seemed upset..and He didn't want to upset him more. "Let's go." He said to the younger before lifting him up into his shoulders and heading to club.

Alice glanced up at him and nodded. "I know.. You can read me like a book." She murmured quietly, tucking some loose hair behind her ear. "You know how my mother can get..and she let me hear all about how angry she was about being kept from my room earlier while the tests were being done... The doctor doesn't want me being left alone for a while, or pushing myself, but mom works like 14 hours or more so I'd be alone if I went home.. " She explained in a semi-rambling manner, not really able to help it. She was tired and definitely worked up by the previous events. "I wanted to come to school to avoid part of that.."

Aurelie rose eyebrow as she watched Maddie, who was dropping wet from being out in the rain. "At least let me offer you a towel before you get sick." She voiced. Maddie ignored her words as she searched the chapel, being sure to look under the benches. "Here kitty.." She murmured softly when she found him, unharmed. One of Aurelie's followers came up behind her with a towel wrapped her tightly with it. She yelled, which scared the kitten and he scurried off to find somewhere else to hide. "Let me go! I came for the kitten, I don't have time for you idiots!" She said with a bite, squirming around in his hold. Aurelie smiled coldly. "Now, now.. There's always time to be saved, child.." She spoke casually, her words dripping in bitterness as she approached the two and allowing the door to close. "Bite me!" Maddie bit back.

Takashi finished gathering his things and turned in his homework when it was time. He glanced at Mitsukuni briefly, and offered him a small smirk. "You ready for the club?" He asked casually, indicating that he was ready when his cousin was.

Alice watched Hikaru picked her bag and the couple of things that fell out, and offered a faint smile. "Yeah.. Mom came to get me and thought about taking me home, but I insisted on coming to school. After all, it's better than being left alone since she didn't want me in the hospital after the tests were finished.." She rambled slightly, lowering her gaze. The car ride though..was pretty unpleasant..

Maddie continued to run, her feet splashing in any puddles she went through. She turned down an alley to take a quick breather, then sighed. She forgot to write the note! Maddie groaned quietly and leaned against a brick building. Shaking her head, she started down the alleyway. It was short cut to the church she was looking for. How hard could it be to find it? She knew what it looked like, and where about it was. When she did spot the newly rebuilt, old cream colored church building that looked like it built in the early centuries, when witch hunts were a big thing, she stopped running and stared at the building for moment. She slowly began to approach it, and went up the staircase leading to the front doors.

She didn't even have time to reach out to open the door before it began to open. The devil woman herself, stood beside the door with a sinister smile. "Madeleine, welcome.. Come to be forgiven?" Aurelie greeted her. Maddie stepped back, before thinking twice and then pushed passed her in the next minute, her eyes scanning for the kitten. Where was he?

Allen gently rubbed his nose against her cheek when she spoke, and then kissed her forehead. She was worried, and he knew that. He nodded lightly and slowly returned the cup of tea to the bedside table. "Alright, I can't very well deny that." He said with a small smile. "I will be back before you finish dinner." He said to her as he slowly slid off the bed and stood, waiting patiently for her to dress him once more.

When the bell sounded, Takashi began putting away his things and kept the homework out as well. He had noticed his younger cousin seemed distracted during class, but he wasn't angry. He had a plan to make his cousin feel better, but first they needed to head to the host club. As much as he wanted to invite Mia, he thought against it for the sake of his cousin.

---

No sooner as when her name had been called, she nearly tripped over herself and stumbled right into the older twin, and dropping her bag. Slightly confused as to what happened, she slowly looked up at Hikaru. "Hikaru, are you alright? I am so sorry.." She started to apologize for being so out-of-it.

Maddie heard him, but she didn't respond. She was scared and feeling a little 'sea-sick' without the 'sea' part. It almost felt like a wave of vertigo hitting her. Sometimes visions could do that, if they were straining or forced. Had she forced this one? No.. But it certainly did catch her off-guard. She had to do something.. Even if it meant facing that devil woman. She'd be back in time to see Clint home, hopefully, and she'd leave a note just in case. She came out of the bathroom and went and sat on her bed, thinking hard about this.

Maddie waited about an hour after Clint left before getting changed and slipping on her hoodie. She took a deep breath and walked out of her room and towards the door, opening it. It was raining, just as she thought. and the clouds were dark. Which meant a storm was coming. Finding a spare key, she locked the door behind her and hid the key once more before running off into town, her hood tightly pulled up over her head.

Allen shook his head lightly at her uneasy sounding words. "..I need to. If I wait until tomorrow I don't know how well off I'll be." He explained cautiously, in hopes of not making her any more uneasy or worried. The tea was helping, yes, but he wasn't better just yet. "I'll be okay, I promise. I won't go to far, and it won't take more than a minute or two." He said to her, sounding much like an innocent child wanting to go to the park or something.

Takashi enjoyed having small talk with a fellow student. He noticed the gleam in his cousin's eyes though, and chose not to ignore it. Maybe he'd take Mitsukuni to the park after school and their club affairs, or maybe out to ice cream instead. He didn't want his cousin unhappy for any reason. He couldn't bare it, especially if he could something to cheer him up again. As class went on, he focused on the lessons all while thinking of something to do with his cousin later. An easy task really.Quickly shifting brain gears came almost second nature to him.

Alice found it increasingly difficult to concentrate on her work, feeling slightly more at ease here than at the hospital and with it being so quiet since everyone was working. Unless you were finished though. Somehow she finished the work before the bell rang. When the bell did ring, she casually began to put away her things. She handed in her work like everyone else and waited a bit as the other students filed out of the classroom before following suit.
