He smiled and ordered enough pizzas for everyone as he walked in, making sure they would deliver to the visitors center.

“Sounds good..” she said softly, lost in thought. “I hope someone hires me...”

“He’s maybe 900 years old? I think..” he said gently, “He has seen a lot.. and dealt with a lot.” He smiled softly. “Just be patient with him.”

She took a slice and tried it. “Oh wow. Yeah it is..” she said shyly, taking extra care not to make a mess.

“He’s use to it- and stubborn about it when it comes to the more dangerous creatures he’s seen..” he said gently.

She sat back down on the couch and smiled a little, still really tired. She opened the box, “Oh that looks delicious...”

He smiled gently, “He’ll come back.” He said softly.

She stood up, moving the newspaper out of the way for the pizza. “I’ll get plates...” she said shyly, moving to get them and bring them back.

He smiled softly, “Torchwood’s systems tell me if he shows up. So if he gets here before the pizza does don’t worry.”

She looked at everything else, most of them were only looking for one person. “Maybe.. the museum..?” She said softly. She wasn’t sure what she’d do there.. at least with books she could organize and tidy up..

“How does pizza for dinner tonight sound?” He asked thoughtfully, grinning a bit.

“Yes please..” she said softly, moving to sit in the living room with her to look. As soon as she sat down she realized how exhausted she was, maybe she’d sleep ok tonight.

“Library looks easy...” she said softly, and maybe she’d get to read some books during down time..

She felt herself going a little red and nodded, putting the rest of the groceries away and recycling the bags.

Once they managed to capture it and deal with releasing it down where the rest of the weevils were, he headed back to the truck with trin. “You’re really good at that.”
