"How long have you been here?" She asked, arms around herself shyly as the store came into view.

He grinned at that, “And the quickest.”

She nodded, looking around still. She hadn’t been to a museum before, it sounded interesting. “I love the scenery..”

“If you can’t be yourself then what’s the point.” He grinned, stepping onto the platform with her and, after making sure she was steady, started their descent.

“No.. this is my first time..” she said softly, taking in the sights as they walked to the store. Probably not the smartest thing to say.. since this was only her second trip to Earth..

“Seems silly for you not to, if that’s what you want to do with your hair.” He said softly, smiling.

She nodded softly, hoping her looks wouldn’t keep her from getting a job. Her eyes were that weird color, would it freak everyone out? “That sounds like a good idea..” she said softly, stepping outside. She started looking around, the town was beautiful..

He nodded, leading her back to Torchwood now. “Alright then. Once you’re done we can get you set up with someone to watch.”

Arty smiled softly, slipping the phone in the back pocket of her pants, and the watch in a front pocket.. “I’m ready when you are..” She said softly.

He grinned, letting her lead the way to the check out, but paying for everything. “Wonderful. Did you want to stop anywhere else?” He asked.

She smiled a little, nodding. “Alright.. I can pay you back.” She said softly. “Should we go now?”

He smiled, folllowing her in and glancing around. “And anything else you might need.” He said thoughtfully, “Go ahead and grab it.”

Oh no. She didn’t explain anything about money. “I don’t.. have any.. money right now.” She said quietly, she’d have to find a job. She set her bag down just inside the room, turning to look at Jane. How was she going to pay rent..?

He shrugged, “Consider it a welcome gift.” He said softly, leading her to the more expensive store.
