Her ears lowered and she frowned, arms wrapping around herself. How was she supposed to comfort her for that? “Can’t get rid of me that easy..” she teased very softly.

“You’re an amazing shot.” He said gently, smiling and getting another round of pellets ready for her to practice with.

She blinked a few times, letting her do what she needed. “Doctor..?” She wondered if she was ok...

“You sure you haven’t done this before?” He asked curiously.

She hugged her back, figuring she really needed one too. “I’m sorry too.”

He smiled softly, leading her down to the range. He got one of the stun guns ready for her, showing her the ropes.

She nodded gently, “I understand.. sorry Doctor.”

“I trust you..” she said softly, giving her hand a squeeze. “Just.. I thought of life as very precious, after what’s happened around me..” she mumbled softly. “I apologize.”

He smiled warmly, eating his plate of pancakes. Once they had finished breakfast he stood up, cleaning up the kitchen. “Ready to check out the range?”

She looked over at the Console. “I’m sorry Doctor.” She said gently.

She hesitated by the doors, not sure what to do, honestly. She moved over to the console and gently took her hand.

He smiled, “Alright, after breakfast, let’s head down.” He said softly, getting the syrup.

She shut the doors, frowning a little. “Sorry.” She said softly.

She listened quietly. “Who fought back?” She asked curiously.
