The male just pinched the bridge of his nose.

"You know, it seems like every single thing is just making this worse for you." he commented.

"Is that a thing? You're more scared. That's a thing? More scared. Oh, that's a thing? Even MORE scared." he went on.

"If you're SO uneasy and concerned, let's just scram." he suggested.

"Or YOU can, at least." he continued.

"You'd make it across the ocean in a snap."

"Right." he responded.

He then looked around, before noticing someone in particular.

"...hey..." he muttered.

"Look." he said, gesturing to someone in the crowd, in a cloak.

"...is that...?" he wondered, trailing off a bit.

"Do you think it's...?" he asked her.

Again, the male sighed.

"I know." he responded.

"However, you know as well as I do that Vyran's too preoccupied right now." he said.

"If what we have heard is true, he's spending all his time and effort on some weird machine." he continued.

"With luck, he'll have tunnel-vision on it." he went on.

"At least until the ship docks."

"Hmmmm." the male mumbled.

"Good question." he said.

"Do you think he knows or knew Callie?" he asked her.

"At first he seemed to be all friendly and close with her." he went on.

"But then got super angry." he continued.

"Regardless, this is... odd behaviour."

"Same." Adym responded, before shaking his head.

"Come on." he said.

"Let's keep moving." he told her.

Meanwhile, the two that had been observing watched the other male leave.

"That was a show." the male commented.

"Certainly interesting, to say the least."

"I..." Adym stammered.

"I don't... I don't know." he said.

"At least it's fading." he reasoned.

"We'll have to monitor this... perhaps see the onboard medic if need be." he told her.

'...the hell...' he then wondered.

'What in the name of the realm is happening to her? And me?'

Just as things were coming to a head with the altercation, and just as Callie said what she did, the one instigating the tension suddenly stopped. They looked around, seemingly in the general direction of Callie, but didn't stop at them.

He then looked at the imposter, and growled.

"I can't believe we were even friends!" he exclaimed.

With that, he turned and stormed off, leaving the rest of the crowd mumbling to themselves.

However, as the male stormed off, as he got closer, Callie felt the sensation become almost unbearable.

The male shot them a glance, before continuing on... and as he did, Callie felt the sensation start to diminish.

It didn't disappear, not by a long shot, but it was starting to go back down to manageable levels, more so as the person disappeared from view.

The one that had been addressing her was now getting visibly angry. And it looked like he was genuinely heartbroken as well. So much so, that it looked like he was ready to start a fight with the one that had stepped up to him.

But it seemed like he was just barely keeping himself composed.

"Damn you!" he cursed.

Adym, meanwhile, looked concerned about Callie.

"Hey." he said.

"Are you all right?" he asked.

"Is that feeling getting worse...? Or is it something else...?"

"Supposed to!?" the male responded.

"I know you've been gone for a while, but how can you forget an old friend!?" he asked her.

"Come on..." he continued.

"It's me." he said further.

"Lissa, you know me." he went on.

"It hasn't been THAT long, I'm sure of it!" he insisted further.

He looked over towards the commotion, and raised an eyebrow.

"Huh." he muttered.

"Doubt it's anything to do with us." he said.

"It's best we not unnecessarily call attention to ourselves." he reasoned.

Meanwhile, Adym and Callie had heard the commotion as well, and were curious as to what was happening.

However, they DID hear a voice above the others.

"-don't recognise me!?" a male asked.

"How can you not!?"

"I know." he responded.

"Trust me... I know." he sighed.

"All we can do is keep going." he told her.

"And don't worry." he then said.

"I'm here to help you. And protect you." he assured her further.

"I've done so thus far, have I not?" he asked with a small chuckle.

"I'm sure we'll be fine." he responded.

"The Elder said so." he told her.

"And his seeings are never wrong." he assured her further.

"Also, if something seems so foolish that it wouldn't be done... then do it." he went on.

"Let your enemy overthink things." he reasoned.

"If that makes sense."

"Ah, yeah." Adym replied.

"You do that." he said.

"I'll... I dunno, mill about the ship as well." he muttered, before shaking his head.

"Actually, wait up." he then said, making his way towards her.

"May as well walk with you to the deck. Take a look around." he reasoned.

"Feel the wind in my hair, as it were."

Adym was silent for a moment, seemingly trying to find the words.

"Remember how you said you were feeling... off?" he asked.

"I think I understand what you were saying." he said.

"Because I feel... off... as well." he told her.

"It's... hard to explain." he continued.

"But I somehow think I know just how you were feeling earlier, and may still be." he went on.

"Been feeling like this ever since we boarded the ship."
