The water was clear and calm, only the ripples from the water speeding outwards from the displacement the ship was causing. The skies seemed to be clear as well, and she could see out for miles and miles.

It was almost enough to calm the unease that she was feeling.

Almost.

But not quite.

She didn't have time to get TOO lost in the scenery, though, before she heard a voice in the crowd.

"Sara!" a male voice called out.

"Sara, where are you!?"

"You're welcome." Ceth replied.

"It's the least we can do." he said.

"After all, we cruxes gotta stick together, and even if we weren't, I'm not one to not help a child." he reasoned with a light chuckle.

"Still hungry?" he asked.

"We have some fruit and bread in the room, and it should get eaten before it goes bad." he reasoned.

Ceth didn't get a chance to say anything, before Xeri was gone.

"...well, crap." he said.

"I didn't realise she was thinking something different. Damn it." he muttered.

"I hate it when we don't connect." he went on.

"We usually connect so well, being twins and all." he told Sara.

"To have such a misfire in communication is... well, it's not good." he mumbled, shaking his head slowly.

Ryker's eyes widened and he flew above the window, as the doctor came in... but they saw Ryker's feet for a split-second.

"Hmph." they muttered.

"He's still hanging around." he said.

"He better not harass the patient any longer." he growled.

With that, he went to checking Eke's vitals, making sure he was stable.

Ceth nodded in response.

"Sounds like a plan." he said.

"I'll stay here with Sara, keep her company." he went on.

"Talk with her so we can get to know each other." he then said further. "After all, if she's connected to me, she may as well know about me, and it'd be nice to know about her." he reasoned.

"Good luck." he then told Xeri.

"Shouldn't be hard, but still. Good luck."

"Well, let's try and find him." Ceth said.

"Seriously. This may be a big ship, with a lot of people, but a centaur should stand out." he reasoned.

"It's the best we can do." he shrugged.

"Because we really should do SOMETHING." he told Xeri.

"We can't just leave her alone, or separated from her guardian."

Ceth smiled as Sara accepted the fruit and took a bite.

"You're welcome." he replied.

"Now." he said.

"I'm sure this Karivyn is worried about you." he went on.

"We should try and find him." he reasoned.

"Make sure he knows you're all right."

"Yeah, things DID get a bit on the hectic side earlier." Ceth admitted.

"Thankfully it ended up being nothing." he said further.

"But sure, we'll help you find him. he then assured Sara.

He smiled at her reassuringly, and then offered her an apple-like fruit.

"Here." he said.

"Have a Mahl-mahl, if you like."

"Ahhh, I see." Ceth responded.

"Well, we can help you find them." he offered.

"I'm sure we'll be able to locate them." he assured her.

"What do they look like?" he asked.

"Do you remember the last time you saw them?"

Ceth just sighed.

He cleared his throat and shook his head.

"It's all right." he told her, using the language that she spoke. Thankfully he and his sister spoke it, and quite fluently... though he DID have a bit of an accent.

"We have food here if you want some. Some fruit and stuff from the eating area." he said further.

"Also, are you here alone?" he asked.

"You seem a bit young to be travelling by yourself."

Ceth was silent for a moment, scratching his chin as Sara talked.

"I'm Ceth." he introduced himself.

"This is Xeri." he then introduced his sister.

"Nice to meet you, Sara." he told her.

He then sighed, and shook his head.

"You don't speak Common very well, do you?" he asked.

"What language DO you speak?"

Ryker was feeling immensely guilty over what happened.

He was sitting outside the hospital, not wanting to show his face in there for a bit (he HAD been in the room when he shouldn't have been, and knew the staff were mad at him), before he walked away.

He then took to the air using his demon wings, and flew up to the window for Eke's room, placing his hand on it.

"...." he was silent, biting his lip.

"Damn it all." he cursed.

"No." Ceth responded.

"No, she's not lost." he said.

"In the sense that she's right where something inside her was telling her to be." he went on.

"Xeri, she's a crux. Look at her hair and eyes." he then told her.

"I asked if she could sense me, and she nodded. I'm pretty sure the crux that can sense me... has found me." he continued.

"..." he was then silent, and sighed quietly.

Now they knew there was ANOTHER crux on board, and odds were that that wouldn't sit well with Xeri.

"Eke?" Ryker asked.

"Eke!?" he exclaimed.

"Oh, crap!" he said, rushing Eke back to the bed, and then bursting out of the room.

"Doctor! Nurse! Someone!" he yelled.

"Eke's gone unconscious and his breathing is shallow!"
