Levi was silent once more, before nodding.

"Yeah." he said.

"I hope so." he told her, looking at them.

He then looked back at her, and smiled.

"This is... well... one of the nicest things anyone's ever done for me." he told her.

"Coincidentally enough, most of the nicest things that have happened to me have been as a result of YOU..." he then said, thinking about it.

He then chuckled, and sighed quietly.

"I need to make sure I get YOU something awesome for YOUR birthday now." he smirked.

Aly was silent, but she suddenly seemed to have an idea as to what Eke was trying to say, and her cheeks turned quite red as well. She then leaned in, and placed one of her hands on his.

"...yes, Eke?" she asked.

"What is it?" she asked him.

"....don't be nervous." she then told him, looking in his eyes.

"......." Aly was silent as he asked his questions.

"I..." she said.

"15 years." she told him.

"With my help, and proper medication, we can get you another 15 years." she said.

"Well... that's the best case scenario..." she then admitted.

"It'll be more like 10-11 years." she whispered, pain in her tone.

"....oh... oh, wow..." Levi said in a hushed tone.

"That's... amazing." he said further. "Seriously, this is great!" he exclaimed.

"The audio quality of these are wonderful, and they're so comfortable." he went on.

He then paused and looked right into Ally's eyes, taking his shades off.

"...thank you." he said, sincerity in his tone.

"Just... thank you so much."

Levi paused as he accepted them.

"...I'm sorry?" he said.

"KEEP them?" he asked.

"Ah... but... wait, why?" he asked her.

"These things are really expensive, are they not?" he asked further.

"I mean, don't get me wrong, I won't refuse, but... why? Are you SURE about this?"

"Ah... I'm not sure..." Levi admitted, finally composing himself.

"Really. I don't know." he said.

"Maybe it'll help if I try and zone out and distract myself." he went on.

"Can I borrow your good headphones?" he asked. "You know, with the noise-cancelling cushioning on them?"

Aly, who had followed, looked at Ryker as he looked back towards her.

They nodded at each other, and Ryker sighed.

"I'll leave you two alone." he told Eke.

"Call me if you need me." he finished.

With that, he left the room, and Aly approached him.

"Yes, Eke?" she asked.

"..." Levi was silent as he heard that.

And then his face turned red.

"Ah, I..." he stammered. "That is... all right." he said.

"I won't complain to that." he told her... before his face went even redder.

"That's not what I meant!" he exclaimed.

"I mean, I don't have a problem with it!" he said, growing even MORE flustered now.

"I mean, I'll understand!" he finally spat out.

Levi just sighed.

"There was a time when I dismissed wiccan things are nonsense." he told her.

"Now... they seem more normal than anything." he admitted.

"And I know better than to turn away something that has a chance of helping me." he went on.

"So if you find any, please let me know."

Levi was silent, and looked at her.

"....yeah." he said.

"I hope so." he said further.

He then sighed, before looking at his hands.

"...never thought I'd be in THIS kind of situation..." he mumbled quietly.

Sharp shook his head.

"No, not right now." he said.

"I need to get the gears in motion here." he told them.

"I will let you two discuss this as need be, or let you both come to terms with this information, however you like." he said.

Levi just nodded.

"Okay, thank you." he said quietly.

"The important thing here is that you do not give up hope." was the last thing Sharp said to Levi.

"We'll do all we can." Sharp replied.

"This is a very delicate situation, and we don't have any guaranteed methods, but I will put every single resource I have at my disposal into dealing with this." he vowed.

"A lot of this depends on YOUR mental fortitude." he then told Levi.

"You have to be strong, and WANT to remain... well... you." he said further.

"I... I see." was all Levi could respond with.

Ryker just sighed, and the next thing Eke knew, he was scooped up in his brothers arms.

"Don't." he said.

"You've nothing to apologize for." he told him.

"Anyway, come on." he said.

"Let's get you upstairs so you can lay down." he finished, as he carried Eke out of the room.

Sharp leaned back in his chair, and briefly licked his lips.

"Well." he said.

"If nothing is done, there's only one fate for you." he told Levi.

"....and that is...?" Levi asked, concern and fear in his tone.

"Your mind and body are twisted, eroded, and corrupted by their influence, turning you into a demented and deformed vessel of chaos and destruction, whose sole purpose is to prepare the Earth for their return, spreading their mental and physical influence, becoming a very threat to the entirety of humanity, eventually." Sharp told him plainly, bluntly, and matter-of-factly.

Levi was stunned to the point of silence, his lower jaw dropping upon hearing what is fate would be.

"That's IF nothing is done." Sharp then stressed.
