Jaden, still looking unimpressed, sighed... as his expression softened a bit.

"He's a really good friend of my Mother." he told her.

"She and him are pretty close, and because of that, I came to know him as well." he continued.

"Really good guy, and deserved help in cleaning up the mess here." he went on.

"...no good deed goes unpunished, it seems." he added with a growl.

"..." Jaden was silent for another moment, glaring at her.

"Some punks graffiti'd around here, was going to help the Father." he told her.

"Was a minute late, and when I arrived, I saw the black-haired asshole attacking him. Looked ready to kill him when he was down." he said further.

"So I got angry. REAL angry. And I attacked him in my rage, biting him." he continued.

"But then he stabbed me and ran off, so I went to see if the Father was ok, just as you showed up and flung me away."

"....uh-huh." Jaden muttered.

"I know you can see what I am." he told her.

"You made it MORE than apparent with your multiple 'freak' comments." he spat.

"And I can feel the Eye of Judgement boring into my soul." he went on.

"So you see me for WHAT I am. Are you REALLY interested in WHO I am?" he asked her.

Rene just rolled his eyes.

"Jaden doesn't lie." he said.

"Not about stuff like this, anyway." he said further.

"Anyway, I'm out. I'll let you know about Dean's prognosis and such." he finished, before he and the Father were surrounded in a water bubble, and disappeared from where they were.

"Well?" Jaden asked.

"Spare me or kill me." he growled to Desiree.

Jaden just narrowed his eyes, looking unimpressed.

"Yeah, looked like it." he said.

"But whatever, he got away." he then growled.

"Damn it." he cursed. "Jerk was slipperier than an oiled up slink-fish." he muttered.

"...yeah, sounds like Deryck." Rene mumbled, hearing that.

"Desiree, I need to take this man to OLA to have him patched up proper." he then told Desiree.

"Yeah... yeah, I know him." Rene replied.

"He's a friend of mine. Son of an even closer friend." he went on.

"And I am 99% sure he didn't attack this man." he added.

"Because I DIDN'T!" Jaden spat.

"I stopped some asshole with black hair from killing him! Drained him of some of his blood until the fucker stabbed me and managed to get away!" he added.

Rene appeared at the scene, and was instantly shocked by the whole thing.

"J-Jaden!?" he exclaimed, before shaking his head.

"Right, the patient." he said further, seeing Dean.

"....oh wow, this is... holy crap..." he muttered, kneeling down and immediately tending to him.

"Now, where's this attacker?" he asked Desiree, before pausing.

"...you... wait, you're talking about the one you're holding, aren't you...?"

The man winced at her comment... specifically, the part where she called him a 'freak'.

He looked at her with his glowing red eyes, still filled with menace, but before anyone could say anything more, they heard a voice call out.

"Desiree!?" Rene yelled.

"I'm coming!" he shouted, at they heard footsteps.

"Yell out if you can hear me!"

The man had fallen to the ground after the wind holding him there had died down, and he was coughing a little.

He then looked over towards her, wiping the blood from his mouth, and growled slightly.

"You don't know the truth!" he told her.

Normally that would sound like the ravings of some lunatic.

But he was still looking very menacing, and it almost sounded like a THREAT.

When she rounded the corner, she saw a horrifying scene.

Dean was on the ground, covered in blood, clearly gravely injured, and there was an individual standing over him. They appeared to be male, had a black wool hat on, and had blonde bangs sticking out of it. His skin was pale, and he was dressed in jeans and a grey tee-shirt.

And his eyes were red, his mouth covered in blood as well.

She could also see an aura of darkness around him, and as he looked up and saw Desiree, she swore he looked like a monster.

Leo nodded again.

"Cool." he said.

He then picked up his phone and sent a text to Nakia, before looking back at Desiree.

"All right, I'll be out of here in about 10 minutes." he told her.

"Was nice to see you again." he said with a small smile. "And was nice to see you again in a place you can call your own." he then added.

"Seriously, I'm so happy to see things on the uptick for you." he stated.

"I can sleep that little bit easier now." he added with a slight chuckle.

"...ah, right." Leo said, looking at his phone.

"Thinking about it, I should be getting back within the next half-hour." he commented.

"Guess time got away from me." he admitted.

"So how is this done here?" he asked.

"I had to teleport into that specific room, do I need to go back there? Or outside? Or can it just be from here?" he asked further.

"For immediately use, and future consideration." he reasoned.

"Ah, right." Leo said.

"Well, at least you should have enough in your bank to keep you going for a bit." he told her.

"But I hope you find something soon." he continued.

"Or that your shows take off." he then added.

"Seriously, you are super talented at that." he complimented her.

"You have a knack for entertaining kids."

"It's okay." Leo responded.

"Nakia doesn't want it to get to that point. I don't want her to have to be the one to do the bad things and such." he muttered.

"Regardless, yeah, that's what's going on with MY life right now." he summarised.

"Let me know how seeking out education goes for you." he went on.

"Lemme know if you want to get your grades up and such, and then we'll talk about that potential scholarship." he told her further.

"But beyond that, hope you get a net connection here soon." he chuckled.
