Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"The archangel." the Fallen confirmed.

"It IS him. He is in the process of falling, himself, but intends to complete his goals before he finishes." he said further.

"He's been a wonder and a boon to us all. He is the saviour we need." he added happily.

'BLASPHEMY!' Ash raged internally, doing his best to hold back.

"Also, yes. Yes she IS a nice score." the Fallen agreed.

"She is the key to it all." he told her. "We thought that we'd need the pure-aligned necromancer, but we might not. Or, if we do, Gabriel and Uriel will take each other out, making the necromancer easy pickings." he laughed.

great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"Kiczys." the Fallen responded.

"And you'll need to take that up with Michael." he told her.

Ash, meanwhile, was seriously wondering about Anya. She was playing her part well. Almost TOO well.

'....hm.' he thought to himself.

"Nobody is allowed to touch her but him." the Fallen then said, before pausing.

"And no, not in THAT way." he muttered. "Gettin' tired of the immature jokes from some of the newbie Fallen." he grumbled.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

The Fallen stumbled for a brief moment... but Anya saw it. Even without her webbing, she was VERY persuasive. And Fallen, though chaotic, would band under a leader that was charismatic enough. It was just that none that WERE would ever try and band them together.

Until now.

"Ah-ha..." he chuckled nervous.

"M-maybe later." he said, as they ventured deeper into the castle.

As they did, both Anya and Ash sensed it. Ash because he was a Fyrane, Anya because she was a demon...

...strong necromantic mana. Casey's mana.

great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"Precisely." the Fallen responded.

"And yes, Michael has stated to us he intends to get us all back to Heaven." he told her. "He truly is an angel among angels." he said further, sounding QUITE smug about it.

'That son of a...' Ash thought.

'He doesn't want that at ALL. He'll say whatever it takes to get the Fallen to work together and FOR HIM...' he growled mentally, remembering the other weapon that Emelie had told him Michael stole.

"So how DID you manage to catch Fyrane?" the Fallen asked Anya.

"He's usually very cautious when not actively in combat, if I recall." they mused.

great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

The newcomer sneered at the ones that were skedaddling off, before looking at Anya and sighing.

"Admittedly, I'M barely keeping it together." he told her candidly.

"It wouldn't be long before I become nothing more than a wild beast, wreaking nothing but chaotic deeds on the world." he said further, as the two started to head further in.

"But Michael will reinstate us all." he continued.

"We WILL get our retribution, and return where we belong."

great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Almost instantly, the one grabbed the other's head, and slammed him down into a prostrating position, alongside himself.

"Please forgive us." they said.

"We assure you it shall not happen again." they said further, as another Fallen approached, whose halo was more noticeably cracked, meaning he was a more senior member of their group.

"What is going-" he started to ask, before seeing Anya and Ash.

"You two, back on guard duty." he ordered the 2 Fallen.

"I assume you wish to speak with Michael." he then said to Anya.

And this showed absolute proof that the Fallen were VERY much organised right now.

great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"Silence, demon." the second one said, causing the first to smack him again.

"HEY!" they exclaimed.

"Excuse him." the first one said to Anya.

"He's new. Freshly fallen." he told her.

"So we just submit to her!?" the second asked indignantly.

"Archdemons are superior to us!" the first hissed.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

The Fallen were silent for a moment, before looking at each other.

"Well... WE can't offer a payment." the first one said.

"But... Michael can." the second finished, looking back towards her.

"Bring him in." the first one told her.

Meanwhile, Ash was listening to all this from within, and couldn't help but shudder.

'Geez, she is... frightening...' he thought.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

After about 10 seconds of pounding, the 'door' was opened by a pair of Fallen.

"WHAT!?" one exclaimed, before seeing who was there.

And who she had with her.

"...well, well, well." they said.

"A demon with a Harmony member." the second commented, causing the first to smack them upside the head.

"That's Anya the archdemon, and Ash Fyrane of the Harmony!" they exclaimed indignantly.

great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Ash looked at the webbing, and sighed again.

He accepted it and immediately started to feel the effects, as it went around his neck like a choker. Once it was complete, she saw the 'spark' in his eyes dull, as he became complacent and submissive, ready for orders.

However, his mind was still active, just... behind some walls.

And as he 'tapped' on them, he could feel how brittle they truly were.

'...all right, let's do this.' he thought.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Ash was silent for a moment, before sighing heavily.

"...yeah, figured it'd come to that." he said.

"Don't really fancy it, but... can't think of anything else." he admitted.

"So let's do it." he told her.

"Do whatcha need to do to make it seem as though you've captured me and rendered me helpless."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Ash looked at her concernedly.

"Is there anything I can do to help drown out the noise?" he asked.

"Anything at ALL?" he asked further.

"Or is this just a case of 'get it done ASAP'?" he inquired.

"If it is... then let's move. NOW."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Ash looked at the coordinates, and nodded.

"Got it." he said.

"I'll land us close, but not right in the heart of it." he told her.

With that, she stepped up close to him, and they disappeared in a burst of black fire, appearing in a place surrounded by lush trees.

"All right, we're close." he said to her.

"We just need to get to where they are."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"Yeah." Ash replied.

"I have, as you said, gotten my affairs in order." he told her.

"I have nobody left to say goodbye to, and now I wish to save my daughter." he said further.

"...and probably my sister-in-law, seeing as she went silent a while ago." he then muttered.

"Regardless, I AM motivated."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.
