"Take care of them?" Jake asked.

"That's very humane of you." he said.

"But you do whatever you need to." he said further.

"Anyway... now that we're in a more private setting..." he went on, trailing off a bit and looking right at her.

"I suppose we should be a little more open and honest with each other." he reasoned.

"...I'm not human." he outright said.

"I'm a Ramaarin." he revealed.

Jake looked at the petri dish and saw the spiders within it, and then nodded.

"Huh, I see." he said.

"Well, thanks again." he told her.

"How'd you capture them?" he asked.

"And what do you plan to do with them now?" he asked further, eyeing the arachnids closely.

"What's their fate?"

"I'll let you do your thing." Jake responded.

"I'll wait for you in the den." he said further.

"See you in a bit." he finished.

He then descended down, and made his way to the den area, sitting down in one of the couches.

"Interesting." he muttered to himself.

"Something tells me I've stumbled upon someone very special."

Jake flinched for a moment when she said what she did at the end.

"Ah..." he stammered.

"Well... yeah. To be frank, yeah." he said.

"Also, three of them?" he asked.

"Damn. That could have been a disaster." he commented.

"Thanks for finding them and letting me know about it."

The man just laughed again, as he grabbed Eke's wrist and placed his arm on the table.

"Now stay reeeeeeeally still." he said with a smirk.

The horrific device was brought even closer towards Eke, the needle part starting to rotate and spin quickly... mere seconds more it opened up slightly, and an extremely thinner needle came out, piercing through Eke's skin in a small pinch.

"...you always DID have a flare for dramatics." Ryker commented.

"I am a performer as well as a doctor." the man laughed, as blood was extracted from Eke.

"...I figured THAT." Jake muttered.

"Though I suppose it makes sense that they'd be up there." he admitted quietly.

He then looked around, before climbing up a bit, and peering into the attic.

And the first thing he saw was Anya's ass.

'....nice.' was the first thing that came to his mind.

Again, the man laughed.

"Strength and weakness are such absolute, archaic, and narrow terms." he said.

"And I didn't know what you were." he went on. "I don't make presumptions." he said further.

"Don't look like any other dragon I've seen." he then added.

With that, he took a device out that almost looked like it was from a horror movie. It looked like a syringe, but seemed like it had mechanical workings, and almost looked like it would bore straight through Eke.

Jake raised an eyebrow when he saw she had found her way up into the attic.

"...huh." he mumbled.

"Uh, hello up there?" he called into the attic.

"You all right?" he asked.

"What's going on up in there?"

The man raised an eyebrow when Eke showed him the scales.

"Ah... ah-hahaha..." he laughed, eerily calmly.

"A real dragon? A live one?" he asked.

"AH-HAHAHAHA! STUPENDOUS!" he then exclaimed.

"Keep your cool, doctor." Ryker responded.

"Take what you need. Remember why you were banished here in the first place." he told the man.

The man responded by simply sighing, shaking his head, and smiling unapologetically, but sheepishly.

"........hmmm." Jake muttered.

"Oh, it was in the linen closet upstairs." he said.

"Up the stairs, take a right, and it's the thin door right after the bathroom." he told her.

"So yeah, that was the last place I saw one." he continued, before pausing.

"....was the first place, too, come to think of it." he then added.

"I see." Jake responded.

"Well, still... that's a shame to hear." he said.

"Maybe where I work could help you." he went on.

"We can discuss it later, at my place." he continued.

"Oh, incidentally, enjoying the food?" he then asked her, changing the subject to something more lighthearted.

Jake acquired a concerned look.

"You need to get out of there now?" he asked.

"That doesn't sound good." he said.

"Are you in trouble?" he then asked her.

"There any way I can help?"

"The plant grows nearby."t he man replied.

"Several miles west." he went on.

"It's guarded by beasts though." he then warned him.

"As for how much blood..." he continued, pausing for a moment, before producing a glass container while looked like it held half a pint.

"This much."

Both Ryker and the other male laughed at what Eke said, but it was the other man that stopped first, and then cleared his throat.

"There IS a purification process." he said.

"However, it takes a little longer, and the ingredients on the list to make said purification solution are... hard to find." he went on.

"What is it you need. What don't you already have?" Ryker asked.

"Venom Flytrap leaves, and Dragon's Blood." the man responded.
