Hal looked at himself in the mirror, and sighed.
"Right." he said.
"The time is nigh." he muttered.
Meanwhile, Vincent had just finished his shower, had dried himself off, and was changing into some new clothing.
"Almost done." he said.
"Rowena, are we using your mana or mine to get there?" he asked Rowena.
"Right." he said.

Vincent watched her go, and sighed again.
"Guess I'll head to the backyard." he said.
"Lay in the sun while I can." he reasoned.
He then yawned, and stepped out of the study, making his way outside.
"Ah, nice." he said.
"Feels good to stretch."

Vincent was silent for a moment.
"...right." he said.
"I've holed myself up in here for too long." he muttered, standing up and pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Didn't even consider the time change." he admitted.
"Guess I need to step out and do something else."
"...right." he said.

"Tomorrow morning?" Vincent asked.
"But didn't you say 'dinner'?" he asked her.
Rowena just nodded.
"Then... why would...?" Vincent wondered aloud, scratching at his chin, before he got an idea.
"Unless... she's making THAT..." he said, trailing off, his face brightening.

Vincent had not forgotten about Hal... but he had pushed it out and away. And as such, he was not suspicious when Rowena had asked him the question.
"Dinner?" he asked.
"Sure!" he replied.
"It's been a while since we've eaten together." he commented.
"Should we bring anything?" he asked her.

Hal sighed in response.
"I see." he replied.
"Well, -I- have no issues with that." he told her.
"Rowena is a sweetheart." he said.
"And... I can only hope Vincent will be civil as well."
"I see." he replied.

Hal looked at Hollie, and nodded.
"Of course." he replied.
"I'm cool with that." he told her.
"What are you thinking of making?" he asked her.
He noticed she seemed on edge, and he could guess why... but he didn't want to press anything right now.

"That's what he wants you to think!" Vincent called back.
"Djinn's are trickster manipulators by nature!" he warned.
"They've fooled many a people in the past." he warned further.
"You'll see." he said.
"Sooner or later... you'll see."

"My apologies." Vincent responded.
"But I'm very concerned right now." he said.
"There is a djinn, and he has his claws in my sister." he told her, getting up.
"I am naturally very concerned." he went on.
"I have no idea what will come of this, but it won't be anything good." he then added.

Hal nodded as Rocky said what she did, and vanished.
"Right, time to make some of this up." he said.
Meanwhile, when Rocky appeared back in the den, and looked around, she saw Vincent sitting in one of the couches, looking right at where she was.
"Hello again, Racquel." he greeted the woman.
"So, did you manage to do what you set out to do?" he asked her.
"Right, time to make some of this up." he said.

Hal just put up his hands defensively.
"Hey, hey, all right." he said.
"Relax, I'm not the sort to do such a thing." he told her.
"I'm a freed djinn. Means I have the freedom to choose to NOT grant wishes if they are spoken." he assured her.
"Besides, your phrasing made it obvious you were just venting." he added.
"But hey... if you ever DO want or need a place of your own, with NO effort on your behalf..." he then added, trailing off a bit and smirking slightly.

Hal just rolled his eyes.
"You do what you need to do." he told her.
"And I'll do what I need to." he said.
"Which is... make up this tea, and make sure Hollie has some." he mumbled.
"Anyway, good look in dealing with Remmington." he wished her.
"He'll be... pretty steamed as is, and odds are he won't be cooling down anytime soon."

"You said it." Hal responded.
"I'm feeling it. This should help." he told her.
"Oh yeah, and Vincent can't come back here for another 24 hours." he then said.
"Seeing as I'm guessing you were where I dropped him off." he went on.
"Yeah, Djinn magic and mana is... stupidly strong." he continued.
"By the way, I'm Hal. Hal Sharp." he then properly introduced himself.
"At your service." he finished, taking a courteous and respectful bow.

Hal just laughed a little.
"Sounds like you have a very... diverse... family." he commented.
"And we are very few in number." he then told her, in reference to her comment about djinn. "A single-digit number, if I recall." he went on.
"Regardless, thank you." he repeated.
"I'm sure this will be a godsend for Hollie."
