"I understand." Hal replied.

"Thank you for telling me." he told her.

"...and I trust your judgement completely, Angela." he then said.

"Do what you think is best in the long run." he continued.

"As horrible as it may be now, we may end up saving Izea's life over this." he reasoned.

"It's worth a little pain NOW."

"........hm." Hal mumbled.

"That... IS a conundrum." he admitted.

"And I don't like ordering such things. Because you're right, it's NOT fair to either of them." he agreed.

"However, without further testing, we can't be certain of anything else." he went on.

"I really think this is up to your best judgement." he then told her.

"Whatever YOU feel is better for their well-being in the long run."

"....." Hal was silent as he heard that.

".....hm." he mumbled.

"I see." he said.

"If this is so... then it's very worrisome, indeed." he commented.

"For Izea to be sensitive to... well... them... opens up SO many new hypotheses for this." he went on.

"Do you think SHE'S some sort of conduit as well?" he asked.

Hal raised an eyebrow when he heard that.

"Oh?" he asked.

"I admit, that was faster than I thought." he told her.

"All right, have a seat." he said.

When she did so, he sighed.

"So, spill." he said.

"What's a potential cause for this?"

Nate just nodded in response.

"Yeah." he said.

"We've got no emergencies going on." he reasoned.

"And there's not much left to do for inventory sorting." he continued.

"I'll make sure things are running smoothly, and I'll keep an eye on Izea." he told her further.

"And if something crops up that desperately needs YOUR attention, specifically, I'll contact you ASAP." he then assured her further.

"...and unfortunately, we have to test it again." Nate muttered.

"For the sake of confirmation." he said.

"...though it DOES feel cruel." he then mumbled.

"I know it really isn't, but it feels as such." he continued.

"For both Izea AND Levi."

Levi just shook his head.

"Yeah. See ya." he replied.

He then left, and Nate stepped up to her.

"...poor guy." he said.

"Must be hard to learn he might be the trigger." he commented.

"Or... well, yeah, him, but not because of something he can control."

Again, he sighed.

"At this point, a distinction without a difference." he told her.

"...ok, maybe a small one." he then admitted.

"Regardless, let's see what happens." he told her.

"Let's... just..." he stammered further, before sighing again.

"Poor Izea..." was all he could say.

Levi was silent.

"I don't know." he said flatly.

"Just... let's just get it done with." he told her.

"...whenever she wakes up, and you need me to hurt her again." he mumbled.

"...damn it all." he whispered.

"I hate that I have this effect, assuming it IS them..." he quietly lamented.

Levi was silent again, before sighing.

"I see." he said.

"I... I..." he then stammered, before shaking his head.

"...okay." he muttered.

"I... I see." he mumbled further.

There really wasn't a lot he could say to this, but she could see that he was feeling massively guilty about this.

Levi was... stunned, to say the least.

"M-me?" he asked.

"I'M responsible for this!?" he asked her, more saddened by the thought than angry.

"..." he was then silent, before sighing.

"And... do it again, huh?" he asked.

"Okay... if you say so."

Ryker just crossed his arms over his chest.

"Oh?" he replied.

"Is that so." he said.

"Is that a matter of fact." he went on.

He then just placed his hand on Eke's head, and ruffled his hair slightly.

"Duly noted." he told him.

"Again, sorry." he apologised, pulling him into a hug.

"Huh?" Levi replied.

"What was I doing?" he asked.

"Nothing special." he said. "I was just typing up something for a press release." he told her.

"And have they been making it easy for you?" Angela asked in response.

"...eh?" Levi muttered.

"Well, no." he said.

"They've been kind of vocal, yeah, but I can deal with it." he told her.

"Why?" he asked.

"Izea!" Levi exclaimed, running over towards her.

"Angela! Nathan!" he called out.

"She's passed out!" he added.

"...." Nate was silent, before looking to Angela.

"Well, then." he said to her.

"Suppose you should go and see him."
