Hello, I'm Key! I'm 37 & my pronouns are he/she/they. I'm a big ol' dork with too much time on my hands who mostly just wants to make people smile. I draw a little, game a little, and I love building websites and customizing profiles.

Sometimes I make videos for my YouTube channels—mostly fan stuff on the primary channel, and the secondary channel is my channel for my invertebrate hobby—I raise sea monkeys (brine shrimp) and isopods and hopefully more in the future (I really want bumblebee millipedes and a jumping spider)! I also am a plant parent, getting excited with each new leaf on my plants, lol, and I dabble in terrarium-building, scrapbooking, and collect a bunch of stuff (plushies, hedgehogs, rainbows, little vials with keepsakes inside, stationary...).

Feel free to ask me about my hobbies anytime; I love sharing them! :D

They're great little notebooks; I love them a lot. I like how nice they look on a shelf, too. I don't think they do spiral notebooks though. 🤔 And I get it; I used to buy my notebooks at Walmart all the time lol. The more sparkly the cover the better! And scrapbooking is just a creative way of keeping mementos, like movie tickets and other "scraps." I've been scrapbooking since high school; along with my poor books I have a giant scrapbook in storage, too. I need to get it back.

I'd love to have a tablet to learn how to draw the lines myself and improve my skills, but for now, yeah, Paint Tool Sai's line tools are a lifesaver!

Thanks, I really hope I get them back too. I actually spent over an hour the other night trying to remember what those science books I had were called. I did eventually find them and I can't tell you how tempted I am to just buy them again instead of waiting to ship them. :P And that sounds like an awesome book, even if you just used it for references lol.

I'm an 80s baby myself, so I grew up when a lot of those books were new! I wish I still had my childhood books but tbh I have no idea where they ended up. One series I was collecting was the Poirot murder mystery novels by Agatha Christie. Poirot is my favorite detective in the entire genre. :)

You know another, children's, series I remembered was The Boxcar Children; did you ever read any of those? They were popular around the same time as the others and were like kid mystery novels featuring, if I recall correctly, a group of orphaned siblings who lived in an old abandoned train boxcar.

I found a really neat gray lipstick a few years ago but couldn't find a lipliner to go with it, and I know from experience funky lipsticks, especially darker ones, have a tendency to 'spread' if they're not contained, lol. I never did wear it much and it's probably no good now.

My then-stepfather once (I was into my 20s by this point and home for a visit) took my backpack and purse--both skeleton-themed--and threw them in the stone fire pit outside because apparently bones are evil. 🤦‍♂ He broke one or two of the glass charms on my purse in the process. And he actually banned skeleton/skull imagery from the house!! He nearly had kittens the time I came in the morning after a concert still wearing monster makeup (because the band was Lordi, who are monsters, and I dressed up). Apparently I was a horrible person for exposing my brothers to death and "demonic" imagery (it's not like I was letting them listen to it and the makeup was nothing they wouldn't see on Halloween!). These days he'd probably be upset about my ankh necklace because "SYMBOL THAT ISN'T THE CROSS IT MUST BE SATANIC!!"

God I want to dye my hair rainbow so bad, but that's an expense I'm not sure I can justify, lol.
