I just checked on the (delicious smelling) roast in the oven to find my roommate accidentally cooked the absorbent pad from the bottom of the meat packaging with the meat! It tastes fine, and the pad thingy didn't burst (and I fished it out and threw it away), so I guess we're okay, but it was a little alarming/funny!

Have you ever made an oopsie while cooking?

I think my funniest is the time I misunderstood a measurement and put twice as much butter in my cookies as intended.

They were exceedingly flat when they came out of the oven. :vanora_sweat:

@Amber Lynne: Holy cow, that's a lot! It seems I currently have exactly 50 characters on my Toyhouse. I'm not sure how many have profiles or not, though. Some are just art galleries.

Also like 10 of those characters have no names yet.

Granted I didn't play much of 2 and I don't think I played 3 at all, but I think 4 is best in terms of customization, too. It's very, I dunno, open-ended I guess. I adore recreating my characters as Sims though so that generally requires some custom content (and sometimes a lot of it!). And yes! I felt so bad; he was in a relationship with his fellow Adult sim, and all of a sudden he was an Elderly sim on death's door. Oopsie.

I agree with you on tutorials; the rambling ones are too hard to follow. Clear and concise with set points is definitely easiest to follow.

@Amber Lynne: Creating and developing characters is one of my favorite pastimes. And woohoo YouTube and sleep! That's how honestly too much of my time is spent too, lol.

That's what I'm thinking: theoretically I have the like, connections in my brain from childhood that should make learning the language properly a little easier?

Honestly I may have to look up some Russian music now; I'm curious. I've listened to Japanese music before (mostly because of anime, admittedly) so why not? :) And maybe I should look up some German music, now I think of it. o3o

I haven't had a gaming console since the original NES, lol. So I can't say I get to play much Nintendo, though I want to! Especially Animal Crossing and Link's Awakening. I mostly play PC-based games, or at least ones available on PC. Minecraft is probably the one I've sunk the most hours into. And Stardew Valley is so cute! But boy is it a time sink; it's hard to pull myself away from so I don't boot it up very often, lol.

Solution found! A kinda Voltran (Voltrian?) messaged me to let me know I had quotation marks around my urls, which were indeed playing all kinds of havoc with the site code. My bad, I'm so sorry to waste people's time.

I guess this can be locked now.

That's fine, you don't have to have a ton of hobbies! Even if it's just a few that you enjoy, as long as they make you happy, that's what counts. :D

@Anarchist Beauty: Yeah, those! I'm in a community of retro, earlier web style website designers, and people collect those suckers like trading cards, it's kind of hilarious. And we tend to just call them 88x31's to differentiate between the sizes.
