Until I can fix it, we're all perpetually living in the future. c':

@Tuijp: Well there's plenty of space around here xD

I used to have neighbours who would set an alarm to wake them up at 5:30 AM... which they always slept through. So I had to lay there and listen to their alarm clock for 20 minutes sometimes. xD

@Tuijp: I have the dev power... VOLTRA IS GOING HALLOWEEN-STYLE EARLY THIS YEAR lol RIP

A Tim Burton café sounds amazing! If I ever get to go to NYC I'll have to remember that. Mang, all the cool stuff is in New York.

I wish I had German neighbours so I could put my two years of language study to good use. c': my neighbours now are all pretty cool. The people next door have sheep and horses and stuff and I like listening to the sheep go BEEEEHHEHEHEHEH

Lol I actually do this all the time and it definitely is a weird feeling, but it's cool that our eye muscles can be controlled like that.

Protip: it's actually good practise to look into the distance and let your eyes go out of focus for a while if you're doing something like working on the computer or playing vidya games. It flexes those muscles and helps reduce eye strain!

Soup weeks are best weeks! I love doing soups for dinner. So easy and delicious!

Heck you can even freeze some of that stock for a rainy day d: always good to have some on hand to add some magic to your cooking.

@SirLionelNigelConrad: You can't tell me you don't feel relieved when you finally get to go to bed

Okay but imagine how relieved that person must feel having dropped all that dead weight

Posted in Nausea strikes again! Posted 7 years ago
@nyreen: If you tend to be triggered by smells, it may be a hormonal thing, though it's entirely plausible that the food which was cooking was just too rich an aroma for your sensitive tummy--if I'm having stomach upsets and smell dog food, it's like the worst smell in the world to me and will make me gag xD I dislike the smell as it is, but don't usually gag over it c':

I guess I'll jump on the bandwagon c':

BLEH I hate nausea, it sucks donkey nuggets. Alas it hits me pretty frequently, whenever I get hungry I get nauseated. Q-Q

Bananas are indeed good if you can handle the texture (kinda iffy for some when you have tummy tantrums), and ginger is probably the best. There are also a couple of pressure points you can massage to help ease it away, which I find especially effective since it helps me to focus on something other than my stomach. xD
