I've been in this boat for a few years now and it freaking sucks (thanks, Tucson, for being a craphole). We moved to a "blank zone" (Comcast literally did not even have cables in the ground--it would have been thousands of dollars to get them to build a line and get hi speed internet.) It really sucked because this was all around the time Destiny first came out (it'd been out for a few months or a year, been too long now) so I wasn't able to play Destiny anymore :C

I thought it'd only last a year but it seems the universe is determined to keep me away from hi-speed internet since the two places I've moved after that, still no internet.

I upgraded my phone to unlimited data as a coping mechanism but it has its limitations and gets slow.

You really don't appreciate having WiFi at home until you spend some time without it... Hope you're able to get connected sometime soon. <3

I don't really have any online friends who would stay or even be interested methinks xD and none of my IRL friends are into online communities so RIP

Well it could certainly be worse. xD As others have said, maybe you should go for it! O: it could be a cool little hobby and who knows, maybe you're a natural. It is a bit harder to play on account of only having three strings but I'm sure you could pick it up. c:

Hey, good luck with your eating plan! I think it's awesome that your school is encouraging it, however I hope they're making exceptions for those who simply aren't able to. As others have pointed out, it's super important that you keep plenty of healthy snacks around because you definitely will get hungry between meals. Things like yogurt, cheese sticks, celery with peanut butter, nuts, and fruits are perfect!

I try to eat healthy most of the time, and am usually successful, but I nab plenty of junk here and there too c': just can't help myself. Most of what we eat is organic, though, so there's a start. xD

That sounds like some super camping! I only went once and it wasn't horrible but it wasn't the best experience either lol.

One of my favourite childhood memories is playing Ratchet and Clank and eating beef ramen. It's very simple and happened often, but I remember one particular Saturday when I was 8 where I just felt really content and said to myself, "this is a wonderful day". Gosh I miss being a kid lol

@nyreen: Thanks! 8D for the most part it's been good so far--we had a big party but they ripped well and helped the time pass along. Getting close to the end of my shift and I can almost taste the freedom! 8D

@totalanimefan: Same with getting out of a nice hot shower too. It's just so relaxing!

@Tuijp: Finally wrenched myself out. It was a herculean effort. xD I do need the moneys but I'm also hoping today is chill because this week has been pretty nuts lol

...but the bed is so comfy. Q-Q I have to leave for work in half an hour and here I am still laying in bed, squeezing those final moments before I resign myself to another day at work. (Totally didn't overdo it on the sake last night RIP) Thankfully it's my Friday so I can come home and take a nap if I want. xD probably won't though, I'm sure I'll be too wired to actually nap, and I usually wake up with a headache anyway. xD

Ouch, a month is short notice to start crunching for a new place to live! Thankfully you do have a bit of time and hopefully it isn't until the end of May that you have to relocate. And as others have said, there are probably other ways around it all but it seems like it may be more trouble in the long run than it's worth. Best of luck, though! I hope you're able to find a decent, affordable place!

@Another Movie Addict: Ahhh yeah conventions are so dangerous! xD SOoo many cool and unique things to buy, and it's like, "well, I might never get the chance to buy this again..." meanwhile your bills are giving you dirty looks from the corner and your bank account is just like "lol what you thought there was something here?"
