Ash and Lindsay didn't fight back, and allowed Ashley to lead them out.

Vincent saw this happen, and sighed, as he took Hollie's hand and followed them.

Leo lingered for a moment, watching Syraene for a few seconds, before sighing quietly.

He then turned, and left as well.

"Yep... she's mad." was all he said when they were together, out of the room.

"..............." there was silence from the group, before Vincent cleared his throat.

"Indeed." he said.

"Perhaps it may be best for us to leave." he told them.

".....mm." Lindsay mumbled.

"I'm sure we all trust Syraene, yes?" Vincent asked.

"I know -I- do." he said.

"I do." Ash agreed.

"I do, as well." Lindsay told them.

"And I do." Leo chimed in as he stood at the doorway, having appeared a few seconds earlier.

"We may be able to get that from Leo." Ash responded.

"Or Miss Syraene." Lindsay reasoned.

"Assuming she shows up." Ash added in.

"Regardless, what we DO know is that we need to somehow access the Order." Vincent then said.

"And if Syraene or Leonard go there, they very well might be affected by it, assuming they haven't already been, to whatever degree." he finished.

"Ah, yes." Ash responded, Kalin having said all she did right before he'd hit the 'end call' button.

"And yeah, thanks for understanding." he said.

"Trust me, it's... weird here." he muttered.

Vincent, meanwhile, just sighed.

"Guess she's working right now." he said, not receiving a reply from Nakia.

"I'll call him directly." he reasoned, ending the call and then calling Leo.

"Leonard?" he said when Leo answered. "Ah, good. Would you mind terribly coming to the Fyrane manor? We need to discuss some urgent Order matters." he told him.

"How do I know? Well, we have a very unusual informant." he then said. "...you'll be over in a couple of minutes? Perfect." he went on, before the call was ended.

"At the very least, we'll have ONE Order member here soon." he told the group.

".........." Ash was silent for a moment.

"Don't tell Rene." he said.

"But just tell her, and we'll go from there." he finished.

With that, he ended their call, as Vincent brought out his own phone.

"Now to check on our other resident Order member." he said, calling his daughter.

"......................hm." Ash muttered.

"Well... uh... you know what, if she wants to come here, then tell her she can." he said.

"But give her a warning." he went on.

"Specifically, warn her that her daughter is here. Use that exact wordage." he finished.

"...heh." Vincent chuckled.

"Sometimes Ash is a little cleverer than he lets on." he said.

"....no, actually." Ash responded.

"We haven't contacted Nakia yet, and Vincent is about to." he told her.

"We have information about the Order because of... another... person." he said further.

"Look, just... I don't think I can tell you who it is without a freakout happening. Almost happened HERE." he then muttered, shaking his head slightly.

"Not completely unjustified..." Lindsay mumbled under his breath.

"But just tell Serenity that there's someone here at the Fyrane manor that she might want to see." he told Kalin. "Or might not..." he went on.

"Admittedly, I don't rightly know where she stands on family." he then said absently.

"Ah, she is? Good... good." Ash responded.

"That's a relief." Vincent muttered from where he was.

"...we may need to speak with her." Ash then said to Kalin.

"Has she mentioned anything... odd? Like, about the Order?" he asked her.

"Because... we need to talk to her about the Order, and what's happening to it right now." he continued.

"Is she... like, available to speak to, at the moment?"

"I will contact Nakia." Vincent said.

"I'll call Kalin." Ash offered.

With that, he was the first to whip out his cell phone, and dialled Kalin's number.

"Hey, Kalin?" he said when she answered.

"Question. Is... Serenity there?" he asked.

"As in, is Serenity actually Serenity at the moment?"

Again, there was silence, before Vincent pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Quality help you have there, Vanessa." he said.

"Well, why don't we just contact one of the Order members we know?" Ash suggested.

"Well, Syraene appears to be unreachable, considering Vanessa told me she's been unable to contact her." Vincent replied.

"....hm." Lindsay mumbled again.

"Well, maybe she's gone back to being Serenity." he offered as an explanation.

"It'd be best if we contact Kalin and/or Rene, as well as Nakia, to see if Miss Syraene and Leo are all right, respectively." he added.

There was silence from the group, before Lindsay sighed.

"Hmm." he mumbled.

"Then we need to find the source of the problem, and solve it." he said.

"But getting there will be an issue." Ash commented.

"Well, her follower managed to." Lindsay reasoned.

"Something tells me there were special circumstances." Vincent then said.

"If Vanessa were able to recreate it, she probably wouldn't have needed to come to us." he went on.

"I get the feeling this follower may have drained an alarming amount of resources to get it done. And now Vanessa literally does not have enough left to fix this." he added.

"The Order?" Ash asked.

"As in, the one that Leo works for?" he asked further.

"Indeed." Vincent responded.

"And if the Order collapses, then it's only a matter of time before the lack of restful REM sleep begins to wreak havoc with living things." he continued.

"........mm." Lindsay mumbled.

"How did it get compromised in the first place?" he asked.

"Or, I suppose, how do you even know about this?" he then clarified, asking Vanessa.

A split-second later, Lindsay's attitude seemed to change.

He immediately seemed to lose the anger within him, as his hands relaxed. He then sat back, sighing quietly.

"...woah." Ash muttered.

"All right, THAT works..." he said.

"I hate it, but it works." he commented.

"Implanted the phrase in his mind, did you?" Vincent asked Vanessa.

Ash looked over towards Ashley, before looking back at Lindsay.

"Damn it, Lindsay, calm down." he said.

"Losing it here will NOT help anyone." he went on.

"......" he was then silent, before sighing, and taking a step back, rolling his shoulders.

"Or lose it on ME." he muttered.

"I hadn't quite expected THIS sort of reaction from the boys." Vincent admitted.
