It was a rare occasion. Jake didn't have his newspaper up. But he looked over towards Hollie, and sighed.

"Extenuating circumstances." he said.

"Cliff's wife is in the hospital for... well, I'm not sure, admittedly, but I was called in to cover, due to me being the only one that can." he shrugged.

"At least I'm getting paid double-time-and-a-half for this." he added with a smirk, before pressing a few buttons on the comm unit on the desk.

"Hey boss, Miss Remmington's here." he said.

"Send her in." Sharp replied, before the call was ended and Jake pressed the buzzer.

"In you both you." he told them, before his tongue flicked out at Leo.

".....sand..." he said.

"And... a vaguely... familiar scent..." he mumbled further.

Leo had said goodbye to Nakia, and disappeared from where he was, appearing in an alley that was relatively close to the Unit, but was still empty and deserted.

He stepped out of the alley, brushed off the small amount of residual sand on his shoulders, the substance dissipating and disappearing into thin air, and started to walk.

He was at the unit in a couple of minutes, and immediately noticed Hollie sitting on the bench outside the Unit.

"Ah." he said when he was close enough.

"The Unit." he commented.

"Should have guessed." he chuckled, before looking at Hollie.

"Hello again." he greeted her respectfully, with a small bow.

"......." Leo was silent for a moment.

"Right." he said.

"I have a vague feeling I know what this is about." he muttered.

"But I'll be there in a few minutes." he said.

"WHERE in San Diego?" he asked her.

"Like, where are you, specifically?"

Sharp smiled again.

"You brother's a good man." he said.

"Even before he had his eyes opened a little." he chuckled.

"He was still a good man." he told her.

"At least he's accepted that not all djinn are alike."

"Well, even the lowest ranking Order member outranks one such as myself." Sharp responded.

"So, high-ranking or not, this is definitely a rare occasion." he said.

"...for me, that is." he clarified. "I get the feeling that this miiiiight be a bit commonplace for you." he said further, taking a small drink.

"Then again, your social network is... quite diverse, shall we say?" he commented.

"Mine is, as well, but even for the head of the Council, you have quite interesting connections."

".............." Sharp was silent again, for a moment.

"Wow." he said.

"Your connections really ARE something amazing." he commented.

"Just like that, you've gotten me an audience with someone from the Order." he said further.

"...you really ARE quite the lady." he then said with a smirk.

"Just keep finding new ways to surprise me."

"........." Sharp was silent for an extended moment, before smacking his forehead.

"The Order of The Sand! Of course!" he exclaimed.

"It makes perfect sense!" he said.

He then paused again, before shaking his head.

"Sadly, I have no way to contact the Order." he told her.

"I mean, if yourself or your brother can, then I would be most appreciative." he commented further. "But from what I know, even the heads of the Council and Triad have immense difficulty getting an audience with... well... ANYONE in the ORder." he added with a sigh.

"...but I'm guessing you have some connection." he then said.

Seeing as this question's been answered, I'll lock this thread.

"Yeah, you go and do that." Azazel responded.

"...I need to get my shit together, and go and see if I can't get Belphegor to help me." he muttered.

"...and I also need to get something for Aedan." he said further.

"Though THAT will be a smidgen easier now." he admitted.

"Regardless, give my best to Ty." he told her.

"Hope he walks away from this with a completely clean bill of health." he finished.

Azazel sighed again.

"NOBODY likes talking to him." he said.

"Belphegor is... well... it's not that he's sadistic or aggressive or anything." he went on. "But getting ANY sort of help from him is like pulling teeth." he told her.

"He's so damn lazy and apathetic, it's infuriating." he went on.

"And even then, he's gotta get something out of it." he muttered.

"As far as demons go, he's definitely one of the most selfish and hedonistic."

"Clearly it's quite important." Azazel agreed.

"I'll let you know as soon as I remember anything." he told her.

"And I'll keep trying to recall why this sounds SO damn familiar." he continued.

"........" he was then silent, before sighing deeply.

"I... might need to speak to someone on this." he said.

"Reeeeeeally don't want to talk to him, but this is serious."

"I... I'm not sure if I do." Azazel responded.

"It's ringing bells of familiarity in my mind, but it's not coming forth." he told her.

"Like, it's right in my brain, but I can't access it, you know?" he said further.

"Damn it." he cursed.

"I'll let you know if I remember it." he told her.

"Sorry for being useless right now, though." he then apologized.

"....." Azazel was silent for a moment, as Miki said what she did, and asked her question. He then turned and looked forward, his eyes hardening.

"Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..." he mumbled, his voice deeper than usual.

"I DO know of a demon that... well... eats dreams, but... that doesn't kill the person. Not right away, anyway. If it's prolonged, the victims tend to die from lack of solid REM sleep." he said.

"But I don't think that any demons just stop people's hearts..." he went on.

"Yet something about that is ringing some bell of familiarity..." he admitted further.

Azazel shot to attention when he heard all that.

"Wh-wh-what??" he exclaimed.

"Who... who said... I mean... wh-what makes you think it's..." he started to protest, before shaking his head quickly.

"I didn't say it was for anyone in specific, let alone, Aedan." he quickly protested.

"................." he was then silent, before letting out a long, drawn-out sigh.

"...thank you, that really does help." he mumbled to her under his breath.

"Anyway, you said you had something to ask me?"
