"Thanks. Night." Tyson responded, before heading upstairs.

With that, Miki grabbed her laptop, and did more research.

And she continued to do research. And she got absorbed in it. So much so, she completely lost track of time. She didn't even notice that it turned to morning, and the sun had risen.

The only thing that snapped her out of her concentration was the sound of some strange mewling from her cat at the bottom of the stairs.

Which was when she looked at the time, and realized Ty hadn't come down to talk to her. Or anything. And it was past the time where he usually woke up and was mobile.

"Well, in your defense, I'VE had a HELL of a lot longer to hone the skill than you have." Tyson responded.

"So it's almost a given." he said.

"Therefore, not really something worth mentioning, I guess." he then added with a small shrug.

"Regardless, let's eat." he told her.

And so they did. They ate, the leftovers were put away, and they spent the evening watching some movies. A couple, at least, before Ty rose from the couch.

"Well, I think it's about time for me to turn in." he commented.

"If you decide to sleep tonight, I'll see you upstairs." he added with a bit of a sigh.

"Well, that's progress." Ty responded.

"At least there's that." he said.

"Anyway, I made dinner." he told her.

"Figured you could use a favourite." he reasoned, as the cat nuzzled into her chin, rubbing against her and purring loudly.

"You even hungry?" he asked.

"I made a decent-sized portion."

Nothing happened on the way to her place. The drive was quiet and uneventful. When she got back to her place, Ty was waiting for her, dinner ready.

And he'd made lasagna... just the way she liked it.

"Welcome back." he greeted her, as her snowy white cat greeted her as well with soft mewling.

"How'd the talk with Sharp go?" he asked.

Sharp nodded in response.

"You do that." he replied.

"If you make any more discoveries, feel free to call me." he told her.

"You can't OFFICIALLY be working here." he said.

"But we have no power to stop you from doing what you like, off the premises." he said further.

"And thank you for coming to me with this information." he then added.

"I've never had hair." Hal responded.

"That's just the way I was created." he told her.

"I CAN make it so that I DO have hair, but it wouldn't be real." he said, before tapping his head.

When he did, a massive black afro appeared on his head. He then tapped again, which changed the hair to a red mohawk, and then to long blonde hair, and then to short brown and messy, then to a crew cut, then to a black bowl cut, before returning back to his shiny bald head.

"Kind of like a wig, but less noticeable." he continued.

"But I see no need to have hair. Saves me on shampoo." he chuckled.

Sharp raised an eyebrow when she said the last part.

"As Hollie would say, impossible to get out of something that doesn't exist." he commented with a small smirk and a light chuckle.

"Anyway." he muttered.

"Feel free to head out whenever you want." he said.

"I'll inform you of any breakthroughs we have." he told her.

"It is, yes." Sharp agreed.

"I just need to find the right agent to assign to this." he said.

He then sighed, and looked at his computer screen.

"...easier said than done." he mumbled.

"But yes, this DOES bare investigating." he repeated.

"The Unit WILL look into this." he assured her.

".....hm." Sharp muttered.

"I figured it would be that." he told her.

"Mostly due to your attitude towards your friend's death." he said.

"However, I have been doing my own research as well, and I feel that your suspicions are warranted. These deaths CANNOT be natural." he agreed.

"The problem is... there's not a lot to go on."

Sharp looked away from his computer, and towards Miki.

"Oh?" he asked.

"Is that so." he said, gesturing for her to sit down.

"I have an inkling as to what you're referring to." he told her as she said. "But it's not proper manners, nor is it particularly smart, to voice assumptions as such." he said further.

"So how about you tell me what you are talking about." he then suggested.

Jake peered at her over his newspaper, and sighed.

"Well... strictly speaking, you ARE allowed to be here." he told her.

"Just not as an employee." he clarified.

"That being said, gimme a moment." he told her, before picking up his desk phone, and making a call.

"...hey boss. Miki's here. Yeah... yeah... I know, but she says she needs to talk to you. Yeah, she said 'I gotta talk with Sharp' verbatim." he said into it. "...all right then." he finished, hanging up.

"In ya go." he told her, pressing a button and unlocking the door.

"Sharp's waiting for you in his office."

Ty was silent for a moment.

"Well, that's why the Unit exists." he said.

"It's our job to find out what's out of the ordinary, and deal with it." he reasoned with a shrug.

"And if more of these cases crop up... then that just bolsters your suspicions." he reasoned further.

"For now, can you take a break to eat?" he asked.

"The food's due here any minute." he said.

"And I got those breadsticks you're crazy for."

"Hm." Ty mumbled.

"I see." he said.

"Any other similarities to Trevor's death?" he asked her.

"Or another situation of a perfectly normal person with a healthy life, and no reason to have a heart attack?" he asked her further.

He was then silent, and seemed to be in deep thought.

"Though, two deaths to sudden cardiac arrest within a month IS suspicious..." he admitted.

After about a moment, Ty hurriedly returned.

"Eh?" he asked.

"What do you mean?" he asked her.

"There's a number of things you could be talking about in terms of his death." he told her.

"And just saying 'a mysterious and suspicious and unnatural' death really isn't anything." he admitted.

"But what have you found?"
