Ash bit his lip when he heard that.

"Yeah, uh... uh, well..." he stammered.

"See, that's the thing." he said.

"It's... not 2074." he told her.

"It's... actually... uh... well..." he mumbled further, trailing off some.

"4384..." he finished quietly, though Vicki heard him clearly still.

Again, Ash was silent for a moment.

"Er... no." he said.

"It's not Mom." he told her.

"It's... uh... well... actually... it's our brother." he said.

"And what he did... will do, for you, technically..." he mumbled further, before sighing.

"Look, what year do you think this is?" he asked.

"........." again, Ash was silent.

"I..." he stammered.

"Ok, what the hell..." he mumbled.

"Right, are you hungry?" he asked her.

"Perhaps you should have a bite to eat, before I lay down some serious information on you." he suggested.

"Otherwise... you're gonna learn some shit that'll blow your mind."

"............." Ash was silent for a moment.

"Dani....?" he mumbled.

"Uh... hm." he muttered.

"Right, let's, uh... let's walk and talk." he said, gently pulling her away from the lounge.

"Tell me." he said.

"What's... what's the last thing you remember?" he asked her.

"You deserve no answers." one of them said.

"What you deserve is DEATH!" another exclaimed.

They then started to quicken their pace, but they suddenly stopped, all of them looking behind her.

"How about you don't." a familiar male voice said from behind her.

"Because of her, the rogues didn't even get to attempt an attack on the Sanctuary, and the Freaks are satiated for a small amount of time, making supply gathering a little easier." he said further.

"I know you hate her, and don't like me, but it's not wise to anger the one that's in charge of your food." he added, as the group backed off and went back to what they were doing, all but ignoring Vicki now.

Their glares increased in intensity when they heard that.

"You have the nerve to give us attitude?" one asked.

"With what you are, and what your family has done to this world, you're lucky we don't just kill you right now." they said further, before there was a pause.

"...wait. Why DON'T we?" another asked.

They all looked at each other for a moment, before they got up, and started to make their way towards her.

As she walked through the hallways, she met very little people, but they all seemed to shoot her a glare, or spit some kind of venom at her.

When she stepped into the lounge, she saw many people there.

None of which she recognized at all.

And all of them looked towards her, much like a vigilante gang would look at a criminal. Murderous intent in their eyes, but they looked like they felt justified in it.

"Well, well, well..." one of them said.

"Look who thinks they have the right to show themselves HERE." they commented further.

When she stepped outside the room, she found that she was, indeed, at the guild. Or, at least, it seemed it. Things seemed a little more run-down than what she was used to, which was alarming.

She then saw someone she didn't recognize walking down the hall... and when they saw her, they shot her the dirtiest glare she'd ever been witness to.

".....hmph." they muttered, before turning and walking away. As they did, she heard them mumbling to themselves.

"Why is SHE here...? Damned cursed world-ruining..." they grumbled, as their words grew quieter and quieter, the further they walked away.

They then suddenly whirled around and looked at her.

"You don't belong here!" they snarled loudly, before disappearing into one of the dorms.

As she walked, she saw that the place still looked like she remembered it from her time.

But it was bustling with people. Friendly people.

People that greeted her as they walked by, even.

It was a stark contrast to what she was used to... when she was even AT the sanctuary, that is.

He was silent for a moment.

"Well... I stepped out of the way so you could enter." he told her.

"And... well, there's nothing going to be stopping you from coming inside, and making your way where you need to go." he said further.

"So... yeah, come on in." he offered.

"I'll let Dani know you're here."

"Vyn?" the mage asked.

"Ummmm... yeah." he said.

"I think she is." he told her.

"Why?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Is everything okay?" he asked her further.

"You seem... concerned."

"......" the mage was silent for a moment.

"I see." he replied.

"Can you prove you're you?" he asked her, handing a small hand and mana scanner out.

Vic stepped forward, placed her hand on it, and pulsed a bit of mana into the device, with her name coming up on the display as Victoria Remmington.

"Dunno why he didn't do THIS..." the mage muttered.

"We gotta stop putting such twitchy people on sentry duty." he said, stepping out of the way so she could enter.

There was silence on the other side of the comm, before there were sounds of an argument... and then the door opened slightly, a head poking out.

It was a young male that worked at the guild. He was a hunter there, but a lower-ranking one. B-level ranks were his highest.

But it wasn't unknown that he had a crush on Vicki.

"Vicki...?" he addressed her.

"What are you doing here? And what's this about AJ?" he asked her.

".........AJ is not here." the voice responded.

"And we don't know when he is expected back." they said further.

"If you insist on waiting, then you will be waiting out there." they went on.

"Without proper authorization, you cannot come in." they then insisted.

"Now, please back away from the door." they finished.
