As she lay down in the bed, she watched as the darkness of the room was replaced with the darkness under her eyelids, as she closed them, in the hopes of getting some sleep.

When she woke up, she found her surroundings were different. Again.

But they were more familiar.

She was in her own room, in her own bed, in her home.

Just how she'd left it when she'd gotten up that one morning, before the accident at school.

"Of course." Sorrel responded.

"See you later, Vicki." he told her with a small smile.

With that, she left the courtyard, and started to make her way down the halls. On the way, people glared at her, spat at her, and snapped curses and insults her way.

Also, along the way, the world seemed to 'flash' out of existence for a second or two... a few more times. But nobody seemed to really notice.

They were too busy hating her.

"Hmmmmmm." Sorrel mumbled.

"If you like, you can borrow my cloak." he told her.

"People might leave you alone if they think you're me." he reasoned.

"I cannot guarantee anything, though." he then lamented. "But you're free to try." he said.

"I'd go with you, but this is a delicate time for the Blood Roses." he went on. "I don't dare leave them unattended for longer than a minute, right now."

"....that's... concerning." Sorrel responded.

"Perhaps you should lie down?" he suggested.

"You may be feeling the consequences of your previous injuries, as you have already suggested, but you may just be tired as well." he said.

"Do you feel off in any way?" he asked.

Sorrel, who she was with at the time, looked at her.

"Hm?" he mumbled.

"Vicki? What is it?" he asked her.

"You seem a little disoriented and concerned." he then commented.

"Are you all right?" he then asked further.

It was clear that he hadn't noticed... whatever it was that had happened.

"..............." Lindsay was silent as Vic said what she did.

"Hmph." he muttered.

"Whatever." he mumbled, before sighing.

"I'm a fool." he said.

"Nothing more." he finished, before his mana started to pulse outwards, engulfing the building and filling it.

"Go." Lindsay told her.

"Just go. Go back to... wherever." he said.

"Or... just... do whatever you need to." he told her further.

"Just get far FAR away from this place." he advised.

"I'm levelling it, and going somewhere else in the world."

Suddenly, Lindsay flared up his mana... to frightening levels.

"I'll just detonate my mana." he told her.

"Take this place down from the inside out." he said.

"ALL of it." he continued.

"And I will never try anything like this ever again." he finished, before throwing a fireball over towards one of his cupboards, knocking several vials down onto the counter below.

"..........." Lindsay was just silent for a prolonged moment, before he looked around, seeing that everything around him had been destroyed.

"...fine." he said.

"Should just destroy this whole place." he muttered, getting to his feet.

"Nothing but atrocities happen here." he continued.

"...I'm now proof of that."

As she destroyed everything in the lab, Lindsay said nothing.

Did nothing.

He seemed to be frozen in place, eyes wide with horror, as he seemed to stare into the distance.

But she knew what was happening.

It just seemed that it was actually horrifying him to the point where he couldn't move.

Which meant that she could continue her campaign of destruction uninhibited.

Lindsay, the curious sort that he was, looked at the orb that was approaching him, and held his arms out towards it.

When he did, the orb touched his hands, and absorbed into him.

When it did, his eyes widened considerably, and he fell to his knees, a horrified expression in his eyes now.

He was seeing her world.

And it was horrifying him.

"I'm NOT!" Lindsay insisted.

"All I want is for everyone on the earth to get along with each other! To understand each other!" he told her.

"................" he was then silent, before his grip on her loosened.

"....is that so wrong?" he asked.

"Surely there's no harm in that wish..."

Lindsay gritted his teeth when Vic said all she did.

"Yes. You're a psychic." he said.

"So you saw a vision of what you say?" he asked her.

"...Victoria, are you THAT hellbent on this?" he then asked her further.

"Or is this about me?" he then inquired. "Because you seem to harbour some resentment and anger towards me." he commented.

"Regardless, you're going to just keep trying to destroy everything here, aren't you?" he then asked. "While being vague and angry."

"HOW do you know this!?" Lindsay asked.

"You speak as though you have acquired this knowledge in a very hard way." he told her.

"HOW?" he asked again.

"Right now, all it sounds like, is that you hate my work, and are looking for ANY reason to destroy it." he then told her further, sounding more and more exasperated.

"And you keep saying I'm destroying this world." he went on.

"But you're not even attempting to explain it to me in such a way that makes sense!" he protested further.

"Unless your claim is that you're a time traveller, somehow." he then added.
